How many of you get a bad smell after removing the catalytic converter? Think its a bad idea to put a downpipe after my bad experience on MK3 so definitely not doing it on the MK4

I think you’ll get that smell regardless on the car

@tmaxlife2704 but only once you put a downpipe right. Although the car sounds amazing I just can't cope driving a nice car with an awful smell of exhaust fumes.

Newers cars dont smell as bad as the older cars did. But yes there definitely is a smell.
