Great fix and video. Some people are too slap dash. Glad you said it straight - the guy lied! Or at least waffled on something he didn't know about. All genuine parts should have the correct connection fitting! Even third party components try and have the correct fittings. Probably threw away a good sensor since it was the blockage. I always keep the original parts, so if new part doesn't fix problem, I will return new part. Before that, I would test to confirm before firing the parts cannon.

Nice job in diagnosing Louis. Not only for french vehicles blockage of steel pipe is normal thing and rubber on the end of it is normal. They often fail only at rubber pipe. This is normal day in service when someone reads the codes and after that changes the parts without testing. Btw this sensor is probably oem as renault changed this part for newer design. But the flaw was they did not sell the new plug with newer type of sensor. It is good thing that you didn't need to mess with finding the right connector for sensor.

Good methodical diagnosis as always a common issue on them engines and best technique to clear the blockage no parts needed 😅

Weak battery so stop start deactivated. Do battery resistant test. Great vid as usual thank-you.

You can also check the pipe is blocken by holding a peece of paper above the pipe while geven it some trottle. If the paper moves, the pipe is open.

Been to my mechanic for INJECTOR SYSTEM CHECK, POLLUTION SYSTEM CHECK and exhaust gas lights. Diagnostics reported an error: Lost signal on the air connector. Error canceled and everything works again. Without warning, the cruise control works, the speed limiter works and everything else. Without any errors. The mechanic says that due to the vibrations from the bad road, the contact, i.e. the signal, is currently lost on one of the air connectors.

Why, oh why do they leave the fuel in the tank knocking on empty knowing that you will be road-testing their cars, really annoying!

The most common fault with this engine. Same happens to Nissan Juke & Quasquai. Seen some people take the who pipe out and heated it up with MAPP gas to burn off the carbon build up inside. Takes ages doing it though.

So was the pressure sensor faulty or not from the values dropping off after applying pressure with the pump.

As soon as i see the engine i was screaming......blocked pipe.....lol See this all the time

I don't....Let's just say think much about Renaults, but it's quite obvious that sensor indeed is some non-oem stuff, also quite half-assed wiring there 🙂. It's weird why people just don't say. I'm machine mechanic and do some minor stuff for my cars within reason/time and if I'd try to solve problem, I wouldn't hesitate to say workshop guy at all "btw I tried this thing X". Actually if I leave car for repairs I always try to describe what and how the fault "feels/appears", let them know codes that have appeared and tell my speculation emphasising that it's my speculation. Anyway good job. I wasn't waiting that pipe to be blocked. Then again, that kinda long line with sensor just put there..

The battery current sensor is disconnected to disable the Stop/Start system that you do not have to push the button every time you start the car. That is done by purpose.. Coworkers girlfriend has a 2015 meganr 1.2 and she complained about how anoing the system is. I gave him the tip to disconnect it. Recently she went to a service and they reconnect the sensor. She ring him, the car is dong it again. He disconnect it again.

Hi LM! I got same a problem, after full check with Clip diagnostic, Mechanic guy say problem with westgate of turbo charger.

Have a simlar thing with mine, one of the sensors gone, but renault dont sell them any more...

Thermoplunger fault can cause dpf regeneration faults, im sure its used to load the engine during regen.

Ah, french engineering, putting a pressure sensor on a hose. :)

Great one Luis, actually the owner could have had you proper diagnose it first time rather than butchering up that loom. He could also have read that datapid with his mickey mouse obd tool...but that's were real expertise comes in!

Very common problem on this engines , carbon build up and chocking metal pipe and damage sensor . Always replace pipe

Hello mate. When does colour come right on engine oil after an engine flush. Is that oil gone to waste that is white colour. I have put new oil in, but the colour is not changing yet.

That's the pipe you put your dpf cleaning fluid thru, I would have been good to do that last the dpf was probably starting to block up that's why the soot then pushes back up that pipe, any ways good job hopefully it will do it's own regen after he puts some fuel in another reason for not regening.

Hi and thank you for the videos . I have problem with my car and I hope you can help with some suggestions. For one month ago the engine stop hazard started to come on. And The DF197 code was present first (fuel pressure information, mechanical fault) and then the DF1012 code (consistent multiplex signals for CC/SL. So changed the fuel pressure regulator sensor, the o2 sensor the thermostat and the cooling temp sensor and the 2 vvt valves and all of this was suggestions from mechanics and I still get the fault anyway. I took the car to Renault after all diagnostic they said they can't find anything and suggested to get ride of the car. The car is a renault clio mk4 1.2 tce 120 2013. So please 🙏 if there is anything you can help iam realy thankful.

I have megane 3 1.9 dci 130, i have the message check injection when i drive for 20 minutes or more and the speed limiter doesn't work when message appears, when the car is cold the message dissappear.
