Renault Trafic 1.6 2019 Engine Oil & Filter Change

In this video, I'll show you how to replace the engine oil and filter in the Renault Trafic III 2019, with the 1.6 ENERGY dCi engine. This video also applies to the Vauxhall Vivaro and Nissan Primaster.
Tools required:
Oil 5W-30 for diesel engines (7-7.4 liters required)
Oil filter with seal - should come with it
Oil drainer
Sump plug washer
Square 8mm sump plug tool/drain plug key
27mm socket for oil filter
10mm socket for undertray cover bolts
Flat blade screwdriver
Rachet/extension
Tissue/rag to clean off old oil residue (optional)

Thanks, spot on review including all parts and tools needed for oil change. This apply to Vivaro as well as Nissan NV300 as same engine and van. Quick note oil must be C4 grade so Helix AR-L is the one or Castrol GTX C4 to be compliant with Euro 6 engines Great job for video and instructions m8 Update: Just finished my Nissan NV300, Oil filter socket is 27mm on mine. All went as smoth as video. FYI make sure you have at least 8 litre oil drain pan

Oil must be dexos2. So an 5w30 acea c3 api SN/CF or SM/CF it is more than OK

7-7.4-litres. I disposed my oil at a skip as they have an old oil container there.

I did this yesterday The most pita part was to remove the undercover the screws are so tight and soo long The rest is a piece of cake

25nm for oil filter housing and 50nm for sump plug

Thanks for the information, although I wouldn't recommend tightening the sump plug to 50Nm, it seems too tight.

20nm for the sump plug 50 is way too high you'll strip the threads doing that

The engine I was changing the oil for requires 7 to 7.4-litres.

6 litres for single turbo, 7,4 litres for biturbo.
