Korbin made light of the emotional moment when Rekha was singing. Her singing brought tears to my eyes. Korbin spoilt the moment. Some things should be respected. Everything is not a joke.
You do realize they are friends that’s why she is so open with her. Also all the guests sing at the end which is used in her 100 episode celebration also available on RU-vid with all the stars a lot of which is fun and laughter.
Rekha (her name literally means 'line' or 'boundary')- the eternal reclusive Diva - she has always twinkled the brightest in the twilight zone between the 'real' world and her inner Narnia!
I think she came across as pretentious because she was being guarded about things she didn't want to reveal. So fair enough. But then these abstract views were awkward to witness
Some of Simi's questions seem intrusive now but she had to ask them because Rekha was not giving straight forward answers. Rekha has not really answered many things clearly in this interview but that's ok because this is the version that she wants to put out in the world.
Rick thinking within: How can I meet this woman and Interview her!?😅 And she finally sings the song she shot with Amit Ji in the movie Silsila! Amit ji was always her love. Still is!
Some of her answers were very confusing but it's understandable given what she's been through. It's a coping mechanism, as Indrani said. This interviewer has a way of making celebrities comfortable enough to expose their vulnerable side. Her interview with Karan Johar on her show "India's Most Desirable" was very interesting as well.
Simi Garewal’s interview Rendezvous with Jayalalithaa is worth watching. The lady was the southern super star and Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, one of India’s most tough formidable politicians. Kangana Ranaut played her in the biopic Thalaivi.
Now watch Simi's interview with Amitabh Bachhan and Jaya Bachhan and you will get a whole new perspective. Not the one where the Bachhans are with their two children but the one with just the two of them. Jaya was wearing a light yellow saree.
Please watch Simi's interview with J. Jayalalitha ma, our ex Chief Minister from Tamilnadu and yesteryear actress. I felt that she opened up for the only time in that interview .
This interview went too weird by the end for me..I genuinely hope rekha ji is at a happy place in her life..I can see rick nd korbin judging rekha a little..The thing with our society is that the judgement on unmarried women is too much..If the same things were said by a woman who is married and living a happy family life,it wouldn’t be perceived so weird..Nevertheless,rekha is more smarter than she leads on..Remember,she has made such a place in the industry when most actresses fade after marriage or once they stop working..she is still one of the most high profile celebrities in bollywood..
I understand that you're reacting with your values which are as per the current ettiqutes and manners. And you may find this interview jarring and intrusive. But for me Simi Garewal interviews felt so emotional and thought provoking. So your cynical expression kinda made me sad. I'm a gen z kid but for me just seeing these interviews is like looking at history! Because I don't think that making people so comfortable with you that they share the most emotional parts of their life is a easy job. And yeah Rekha ma'am was not giving the most direct answers but I just felt so connected with her saying that she communicates with more than just words because I feel so too. So even if it is not something you understand, please don't put it down or ridicule it. Even I feel it is not right to ask personal questions in interviews and but I would never ridicule the interviewer if I see that they don't mean any malice. Just a request from an avid watcher of your channel. Also, asking someone to perform something is not exactly the same vibe as "Dance for me monkey!", it's kinda an appreciation of their talent here and I don't think that an artist would ever find it rude to be asked to perform because they love their craft so much that they would be excited to practice their craft when given a chance! Like that interview with Chitra ma'am, she was singing so happily because she loves that song and she sang it perfectly trying again and again until it was perfect. That's an artist. So I think you should try to widen you lens a little. Sorry if this seemed rude or demeaning, I mean only to share my thoughts on things which made me sad.
It was a diva interview. I reckon Rekhas very shrewd. Dnt think she was being totally upfront about Amitabh. I hve hrd thru sources who are privy to the info that they do meet even today. Simi and she are friends so Simi looked disappointed it seemed when Rekha didnt admit to meeting AB. Almost like Simi knws the truth and shes irritated that Rekha didnt come clean. Besides not giving her the headline
Isn’t it obvious to you guys that simi & Rekha are good friends. Simi is the only person Rekha gives her interviews to, simi has a home video , simi said how Rekha would perform and entertain her. Her wanting Rekha to get married & to sing looks like it’s only from a place of love 💗
When someone irrespective of knowing all things, especially understanding the requirement of time, keep doing mess for no reason then that someone is deceiving not only himself but other members of crew as well who rely on him. Kindly reply, if anybody think, it's wrong. Doing mistake is wrong, but justifying the same without admitting it is crime.
i really used to enjoy watching these guys.. but they are going lower and lower. First Ricky was on his phone a lot fro some part of the episode... im sorry dont do a reaction video if u do not want to give a reaction! its sad to watch them laugh at meaningful moments. Korbin needs to stop drinking before shooting or whatever he is consuming. If i were Indrani, i would be maaaaaaaad, probably walk out too.
