@@azharudinmehmet2345 Dir didn’t kick them out, Somalis were nomadic. They chose to stay behind and settle in Kenya or they got lost separated from other Somalis and settled. My grandma is Dir and did speak of ancient stories of lost Somali tribes in Kenya as well as Ethiopia and Rwanda.

The Rendille speak an ancient Somali dialect known as mahaaw which many scholars believe is the mother of modern Somali dialect known as maxa tiri..the dialect is almost getting extinct as its now spoken by Garre and Dabare clan of lower shebelle only. No doubt majority of Rendille are of Garre clan.the clan of odolla,bursuna ,keynan(kaal-weyn)an uruwein(big stomach) are all Gare.they still use same animal mark and clan name like Gare. .but there is Ajuran clan of saale among the Rendille too
There's different b/w Somalis(the people) and somalia (the country) Somalis live all over horn of Africa, so you may be Somali but it doesn't mean you must came from current somalia. stay where you belong and be proud that you're Somali.
Somalis scattered all over east Africa a long time before the arrivel of colonials. So, we are kind of Türkiç people in Euro-Asia. Rendille and somali languages have wording similarities, but anyone's guess: why weekdays names of Rendille are the same as Afar people? Are they also related to Afar people as well? There are connections among Cushitic peoples no doubt! What about Turkana, Borana and Oromo? To sum up, I was shocked to hear Rendille language component has got almost all dialect wordings of Somali language. A research is needed here to extract the truth in compression for historical background findings.

Rendille say they are related to Somali but through Samburu inter marriage they are also related to Masai, the story of African tribal formation. Many of our groups have a little bit of each other!

Absolutely not! Rendilles live in Marsabit county adjacent to the Wajir to the NE. In any case, they (Rendilles and Somalis) all live within the territory of the NFD region that earlier was under dispute to reconcile and rejoin with the Somali republic. It doesn't mean however that Rendilles are in direct proximity with the Somalis of Wajir.
Rendille live predominantly in leisamis constituency of marasabit county and borders clan like Gabra and sakuye. In loyangalani,they live together with gabra and turkana too.samburu too live with then around mount kulan. Logologo is predominantly adolla rendille clan like bursuna and keynaan.Somalis may live in rendille urban center like leisamis and merille too,though handful. They are part of the cushitic tribe of northern frontier district

I have been to logologo and saw several rendille animal with same animal mark like that of gare.they are bursuna,oruwein(kalula sub clan) and keynan(kalmasa) and Rer muug too whom all come from the odhola and Rer Ali clan of Gare.this same clan are in sakuye and Gabra too. However, in Rendille and sakuye, there are clans like fura/fora who stem from bimaal.there are samane who trace from Habar jeelo of issaaq and many more.the saale clan came from Ajuran too.
What’s your historical origin though? Were did the modern day Rendille people originate from? As an outsider to this argument, Somalis seem to have a strong claim that you guys are related, and the evidence of the the similarities between the language, way of life, religion prior to Islam, and legit your obvious phenotype seem to be very strong markers that at one point Somalis and Rendilles united under one name. How can you deny the similarities without pointing out what makes your people so different to Somalis...I am not convinced by your point at all, but then again I am also just an outsider to this debate so feel free to not reply, or offer your rebuttal.
TOTTALY MISLEADING, FACT 1: The Rendilles never migrated from Somalia. most afro cushitics/semitics (that includes Rendilles and Somalis) shared a common Nilo-Sahara migratory path all the way from Egypt through Kush (current Ethiopia). FACT 2: The Rendilles are not Somalis, and neither are the Somalis Rendilles. The similarity in the dialect doesn't suggest to be one and same, these are communities with different cultural practices, beliefs, norms and values. KINDLY LEARN YOUR HISTORY.
