@@namelessfacelessyoutuber6017 Ashley was still a good friend and coworker/ring partner to Paul, regardless of how their intimate relationship went. Let's show a little more sensitivity.
@@geedee1264Scott Steiner said they wanted to test him. He said sure, send Hunter over in the limo & they’d go & get tested together. Never heard anything more about it.😂
When Paul said he could see Vince being the type of guy to be like the rich guys in hostel that pay to watch people get killed and tortured I could totally see it to lol 😅
There was a movie back in the 90s with rapper Ice T in it called Surviving the game... these rich guys who lure in homeless men and hunt them down in the woods. Definitely see Vince doing that
The spirit of Joanie Laurer, Ashely Massaro & Elizabeth Huelett is opening truth rabbit hole portals to Vince and that whole family. I brought Miss Elizabeth up reasoning, I heard years ago Miss Elizabeth went through some torcher in her day allegedly. It will come out soon.
Given a fair few reporters and investigators know this show and Paul these days, I have a weird feeling that Paul mentioning the XFL cheerleaders just opened a whole new can of worms, or at least reminded people of something else to look into closer. Also, Chris came off great in this clip and I'm looking forward to listening to the full episode later today.
@@pendafen7405 what's a better look? To disregard any possible alternative other than what the female (with the texts showing consensual acts) alledges ? Maybe on virtue signaling Twitter where cancel culture is the #1 hobby but there's a thing called innocent until proven guilty.
It's nice to see actually good people in pro wrestling. A lot of the newer younger guys like a Darby Allin or indie guys like Calvin Tankman seem like good dudes and i hope the industry goes that way. We need way less Bradshaw's and Bob Holly's and way more Paul London and RVD's. Makes it easier to be a fan.
Yeah a lot of the young guys and girls in AEW and WWE seem like good people. Ik the old generation like Taker called them soft but it's like that's a way better alternative then being complete scum
The only podcast talking about this situation that is worth a damn. Everyone else is talking “allegations” like all these mountains upon mountains of evidence is all somehow magically made up. Nah. Vince did it. Vince 500% did it. Along with a lot more.
@@bm563 yes, it's sad. I stopped checking in on the Drive Thru because I was sick of Jim shaming these women and claiming they were inviting the abuse of their boss. Cornette probably knew about it and witnessed it while doing nothing, too, it would check out.
One of the other segments i remember was when Vince had Trish earlier in her run with WWF/E and had her rolling around on the mat barking like a dog and burying her with slop in front of the crowd at home on TV and in the arena. Thats of course just one incident, but definitely did do some crazy shit on camera to his talent. And also some heinous shit behind closed doors too.
Damn near every single talent from like 03-10 was squandered. Punk, Kofi, Sheamus, a lot of the women due to depth are like the only ones who actually got what they should have from the industry. Just go look at like the video game rosters from the early SVR games and it's a who's who of people being misused.
How many times did Vince book the ex-WCW women to lose "paddle on a pole" matches and get spanked on live TV? (Torrie Wilson and Stacey Keibler come immediately to mind but I am sure there are more.) Pretty much combines fetish, bullying, and revenge. The man has always been not right. Glad it's finally being dealt with -- though as with Weinstein far too late.
Don't forget what they did to Rusev and Lana when their real life engagement was leaked. I read reports of Vince hating Rusev for being with Lana in the first place.
@Covingtonao you can't tell me different I think they booked that shit storyline of Lana and Dolph v Russev and Summer Rae to try and break Lana and Russev up
@@123FUG33lmao, dude, masters is in his 40’s now. He’s going to look noticeably smaller as time goes on. As he gets older his body will produce less and less testosterone for him to maintain muscle mass. He probably still works out as hard as he did when he was 21, he’s just older so he looks smaller, and well, more aged 😂
Paul London with the wisdom. As deep as Janel was in this situation, she would have not been able to say no. Vince controlled her finances. He abused his power (all allegedly). Also, are Rene and Chris lighting up? Because if so, I wanna be on this podcast.
Well nice to see Chris Masters and Paul London on Dupree's show. And Vince is evil lecherous perverted and poor Ashley went through the traumatizing event in her life up to her.. I can't say it because she had no one to help her and she was so young too.
Gotta say guys like Paul London and Renee Dupree fell under my radar, never watched their matches, never really saw them work. Being an avid wrestling fan for almost 25 years now and I’ve just realised that I’ve always had my head in the main event scene, never really cared for the mid card division or lower card either. Which is why I don’t really watch nxt. Having said all that, I’ve been watching these podcasts with Renee and London and I’m hooked. They seem like genuine nice guys, too nice for the business. It’s interesting listening to their stories observing their reflections on past incidents etc. Bob holly traumatised Renee with his unprovoked assault to which Dupree still bears the scar to this day and Paul seems to be at peace with everything concerning Ashley. Deep down i know he’s utterly heartbroken (as we all are) but he looks like he’s in a happier place in his life. He looks good. These chats are fun and insightful and for the average wrestling fan or spectator they open up a whole new world of information, a whole new insight with added depth and complexities regarding the shadowy underbelly of the business.
Chris blew my mind. He hit the nail on the head with the Vince/Ashley promo that went nowhere. There is a video of ultimate warrior having gone thru 1 aswell where he had to apologize for some unknown reason. I think it's in the documentary on warrior.❤
I do feel bad for Paul, the whole Ashley thing has to be difficult since this situation doesn't just involve a random person that he worked with and it does involve his private life that wasn't on display on tv or for a storyline. Everyone has boundaries that you shouldn't have to verbalize because its just common sense and basic respect for another human and i think if journalists are digging for private information then he might have to publicly make those boundaries known which is sad because you shouldn't have to tell someone, they should just know. At the same time i don't think Paul wants to be an A list celebrity because those journalists find out things about you that you might not even know.
@antonycuff4512 My heart breaks for her family, but they were not in the video, which is why I didn't mention them, but yes, I 100% agree that this has to be extremely difficult for her daughter and family which is why I personally feel like it is in bad taste to continue talking about the situation because it comes across as using someone's trauma for content but it's not my decision or choice to make and I'm not going to tell people what they should do and i feel even bad writing that and from the daughter's pov that her mom was very alone and isolated before her passing and it's like people have come out of the woodwork to talk about her mom's trauma when they weren't there for her mom during those last few years or months which is only my assumption but I completely understand her daughter
@christhianborrero3623 Well Linda has supported her husband in his past sins, but now that they're separated, likely she finally seen the light and has had enough of his cheating. If Stephanie was one of those that convinced Ashley not to say anything about rape, she should be ashamed, hasn't been proven yet, but deep down, hearing about her father in this manner, has to kill her and uncomfortably embarrassed, maybe she knew this will come out, of why she decided to step down and it's a question of now if she, Hunter or maybe Bruce knew about what was going on with Vinny, TKO has the power to oust them, but we shall see.
@@rumarspencer7302 She see the light now ? How can she waited all those years when she obviously have him as is wife all this years and knowing how weird vince is.
@@rumarspencer7302 you people think Stephanie is this good woman that everybody believe it is , she is the same that stole Triple H from Chyna and the same that dont want to push hot chicks rather push SJWs manly chick like the 4 hoursewoman and ect you now want to feel bad about her ?
2:07 slippery slope of victim blaming. Let's be real, she was never in any position of power or influence. Vince has ALWAYS been in the position of power and influence. To think she maybe "fed into" this and that's why Vince is a psychotic power hungry rapist is pretty dumb. She didn't groom Vince. Vince has a long history that clearly shows he used his position of power to influence others to fulfill his sick wishes and fantasies. Also, the moment she says "no" even if she agreed to do something, means no. People are allowed to change their minds and say no, after that it's non consensual aka sexual assault aka r@pe.
@@pendafen7405 I don't think Chris had any bad intent or malice behind his question. No need to lose respect for the man over one comment that even he admitted he just thought of today and conceded to Paul when Paul asked "why does it matter?". Gotta give people the chance to speak their thoughts and be challenged. I think Chris is still a solid guy, seemed very nice and humble throughout the entire interview.
With the texts - if you were escaping a cult, you’d be more likely to try and throw them off your scent than flat out say they’re a bunch of creeps & you want out.
Rich evil old bastards don't have any true allies or friends, only people they can mutually use. They have no souls to create real interpersonal affinity.
@@louioyou know your stuff even then i would say stone cold storyline is him being mkultra like when he seemed upset with vince but then hed hug him with a crazy look in eyes
Vince is a sociopath. He finds power in the very darkest parts of humanity. John Cena is a spineless enabler. The higher they climb, the farther they fall. Xo p.s. rip owen hart ❤
The Masterpiece is looking very healthy these days. I couldn't of imagined he'd look as good more slender too. Good on him. Is it just me who is actually dreading what this "big story" before WM coming out is? This is equally as shocking to me as some conservative (hey, there are liberal perverts as well, but this particular one only involved "tories"... James will know) politicians in my country bring linked to rampant child s*x abuse and... Shallow graves and bones were found. Heinous. I can't think of simple grotesque acts masquerading as a fetish beyond defecation that don't involve next level sadistic abuse. Its like some f*cked up online story written by a detanged person, I guess Vince is that defanged person. Remember him stating he would die a very unfulfilled, unhappy man? I took that on account of his ambitions. Perhaps its more to do with what itches he never scratched.
So many questions! Yeah, you think Biscoff might be barfing the hardest, he's practically made out with the whole family... I wonder who has Eric Biscoff beat on that one? Who else has a McMahon Grand Slam or more? What did Ashley know that others didn't? Was there anyone close to her that knew what was happening? Having Chris on was a good call! Who's Next?
