I like Paul London and I don't think he's saying all of these things just because he's bitter. You can see he's an organically happy guy and he laughs and smiles through most if not all of the stories he recounts for us. He's actually a great story teller. Would love to see alot more of this
According to Court Bauer, during the meetings they would the writers would have ideas for Paul London and Brian Kendrick and Vince would just say loudly “NO!” then cross his name off. Then they would the writers would say “okay, but they have the tag belts, why don’t we take them off of them?” and Vince would say “NO! We need them to have the belts or the belts need to be them!”
as a kid watching that segment I TOTALLY got the “village idiot” thing Paul was going for lmao i remembered being so confused reading reports there was “heat” I thought he nailed it
London went from "please dont die !" chants from fans in ROH to "Please dont smile " comments from Vince ! Haha ! Im kidding . I love ya Paul ! !!!!! This comment was a knock on Vince not you buddy !!
Ironically this lil moment was the defining moment of his career. I really like Paul he’s a cool guy and he seems much happier and more importantly at peace with the past (Ashley) and his tenure with wwe.
6/17/2003 ( WWE SmackDown TV Taping ) San Antonio, Texas: SBC Center: After this Show Paul London shook Vince McMahon hand grabbing only two fingers tight.
I still remember being 10 years old being glued to this storyline because I really hoped it was Paul London. I hated McMahon and loved London and I knew it would mean he would be in the big stories
it was stupid of him to smile, but it shouldn't have been that big of a deal. Like when Titus grabbed Vince that one time on camera and almost got fired.
And if london is to be believed, they could have just refilmed it. It's not like there were any choreographed stunts or spots that would have made it challenging. Also , why not just tell the roster what the segments for? No reason to keep them in the dark in regards to the storyline
@marcbasil he's not a trust fund kid. He bought the company from his dad and shareholders. And had to have it paid off in a year and did so. Now his kids are trust fund kids
Depends who you ask, some say they love the guy. He gets like 3 hours sleep a night and doesn't stop working, I'm not sure who wouldn't be a bit of a prick in those conditions lol
Watching the segment live with my cousin, we genuinely had a conversation thinking was London the one who murdered Vince purely because he was smiling? He was the only one with an expression on his face just looked so out of place at the time.
It was a stupid idea to begin with Exploding in a limo and a fake death come off it lol Vince had a lot of horrible ideas that never took off and I’m glad this one never did,sad for Chris Benoit until the truth was revealed
I've heard it explained a few times. Vince's idea was it was killing off the Mr mcmahon character not vince himself. That's some serious head issues to put his character on the lvl of a real person
Hmmmmm I don’t think so because Vince had power over both. London mentioned Ashley going into his office for indefinite periods of time. Why do you think that is?
