In this video features a few clips with Rene Perez talking about the Taino language which is an Arawakan language. And various examples why leaning about linguistics and learning about arawak languages will help the researcher learn about the Taino and also Arawak languages in general.
"If you trace the languages, you can have a better perception of the world."
- Rene Perez

You can start by learning the Garifuna language. It's the closet to speaking Taino.

Important, well-researched information. Thank you for all the hard work and in-depth study that backs up this material, and the material in many of the other posts in Confederation of the Antilles channel.

@@AntilleanFederation at this point ima bout to just study Garifuna and keep the taino words we still use now in day. Do u think this would dishonur our people? Es parte del taino pero etoy cierto q no es igual, ni comprensible. Piensas q los dos son como portuges y espanol? O mas como ingles y frances? O diferente totalmente?
@AntilleanFederation

@@nicks0alive no it wouldn't be a dishonor because the Garinagu have the structure to rebuild an arawakan language for taino descendants. Example using taino words we have: Bohi yatina - I am home Wani bohio - our home Neiba nibohio - I'm going to my home
