Wonderful performance both performers obviously having a great time here and reminding us once again that one of the great things about jazz music is that age doesn't have anything to do with it :-)C
Just discovered Renee's singing...amazing. God has blessed her with great talent. Both she and Ms. Morrison are wonderful here. A real musical treat. Hope Renee will continue her singing career for all to enjoy for many years to come. There are not many like her.
Thank you so much for posting this legendary performance, keep shining! Ms. Barbara Morrison is one of my musical mentors as well, pure love in every word and note!
Fabulous band! Fabulous song, "what a difference....." that can be turned around by any singer, and the other, Fabulous singers and what a performance! I can't help watching it over and over again ! Thank you so much for sharing! Greetings from Sri Lanka!
Great voices, i love Mrs. Barbara Morrison, such a unique style. Renee Olstead has such a nice voice, though i have to say, I don't feel confortable seeing a young teenager on stage offering a show as an adult. I hope she'll never regret haven lost her childhood and adolescence.
I wonder what Barbara Morrison would think of the Renee of 2022? Sadly I have had to edit this as I've just read the wonderful Barbara Morrison has recently passed away. RIP. A lady who gave us a lifetime of beautiful music without compromise.
She is Larry! I'm with "The Official Renee Olstead Fan Club" at reneeolstead.info The Fan Club is endorsed by Renee. We try to stay current with Renee. Check it out!
Well she's a few years older today and married. Still singing, still has an incredible but her career seems to have stalled somewhat. Sure hope she doesn't get sidetracked in any way. Just too good.
Amazing considering she’s only 15 yrs. old. Sounds a little bit like Billie Holiday. It’s reassuring to know that a new generation will continue to perpetuate this style of music. Good music never goes out of fashion.
comparing her to them, even with their studio enhancements and technical tricks, is like comparing a major league hitter with the local little league all-stars. all Ms. Oldstead needs is a microphone and she's in the zone. day and night.here she's holding her own with a master of the genre and holding her own. it's called talent.
