I feel the opposite actually, I liked the designs true to the original we saw in the Tiberian Sun X trailer. the redesigns feel much more generic to me
@@herpicusderpicus128 There are reasons they are redesigning the units. The developers even mentioned the wolverine when they were talking about animation. Some of the original designs just....aren't actually all that functional XD The wolverine would have look like a cartoon trying to run if they stuck with the original design and it's gun turrets were too low, meaning the original wolverine design would have had a bunch of itself sticking out of cover without being able to fire back at the enemy. The original designs may have looked cool, but questionable functionality at best.
Aerial dogfights look so awkward and unpractical... Vehicles look epic though, even considering the fact there are some differences between them and canon ones.
I really really support the new Map size. Renegade X is fun and all, but Tanks usually slog through Corridors and box themselves. I also think you should remodel the Mammoth. First. Change the Missile Launchers position and put them on the main body instead of the Cannons. Second, which is more a visual touch really, make it more like your other Mechs which have a completely new and lovely design.
Yeah we are specifically opening up the map design and adjusting the game mode to be less about base locking and more about engaging in combat on the field with smaller forward operating bases. The MMKII is going to be redesigned. As mentioned in the Dev Talk we were using the models provided by the Reborn team as placeholders.
what i´ve seen so far looks awesome however i think Cyborgs should be treated like ,,Vehicles" of course gameplay wise as Infantry but it would make more sense if they were unable to use Vehicles and such would also give the possibility for them to behave like they did in Tiberian Sun like arm mounted Guns and crawling on the ground when heavily damaged it would also make the Reaper playable
