Okay, all of you Reno historians...I need some help identifying where some of theses scenes were shot. They are from the 1939 movie "Charlie Chan In Reno".
The "Twenty Miles To Reno" scene looks like it could have been shot on Highway 50 towards Lake Tahoe, but the sign (if real) would place it on route 341 through Virginia City. Any info on this? I haven't traveled on either road for quite awhile.
I'm also having trouble figuring out where the driving scenes were shot, and I'm not even sure they were done in the Reno area.
The two Reno Arch shots facing south on Virginia Street are fantastic!
Any info on these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
