On the next American Black Journal: Renowned poet Nikki Giovanni talks with contributor Cecelia Sharpe at the Charles H. Wright Museum about her life, career, literary works and her future plans.
Giovanni talks about how her career got off the ground, the documentary about her life, and her fascination with outer space and the solar system.
Plus, we meet an eight-year-old Detroit girl who has gone viral on social media for her impersonations of icons from Black history. Contributor Daijah Moss spoke with Rosie White and her family about the content and work that goes into producing these videos, which have grabbed the attention of celebrities like Oprah Winfrey.
