I’ve been to Thailand for a 4 day vacation from the US. It’s not a place I would stay and work but worth vacationing. One thing I noticed in Thailand during my 4day vacation is that they are very liberal; they don’t discriminate especially in Bangkok. Things are cheap like food and stuff especially if are visiting from the US or Europe.
I visited almost the whole country in 3 weeks in 1998, when I was a student at the university of Botswana. My girlfriend was a Thai on campus. She went to Botswana fornher postgraduate diploma. I visited her during Christmas. We had a great time. Clothes are very cheap. I visited their biggest hydroelectric dam in the south. The project engineers had never met a black person before. When they saw me, it was amazing. They granted me a special tour on the whole site and made me write a spcial message in the visitors book and signed.
What he said is 100%. I've been to Thailand twice. You can live like a King on $100 a month on assorted food and beverage. I'm going again April. Most Ghanaians only know abt US and Europe. I suggest people travel there, get a taste and decide whether to return or stay.
Thailand is Cheap compared to some European Countries or other Asian Countries but it's a BIG LIE to say you can live on $100 a month. There is no way you can live on $100 a month. I have been in Thailand for a while and I disagree with some of the things he was saying.
Tes, I have been to Thailand, food is very cheap. They have processed almost every food they produce. Post harvest losses is very low,so there is food all year round. The monarchy is very much involved in the development of the county. The people respect the monarchy
I have friends who lived travelled to Thailand. It is easy to visit but immigration system is very strict. One of my friend was sentenced to prison more than 5years. He was beating and mistreated. There are two many Ashawo there too.
ghana has a lot of natural resources but the citizens are hungry, a selfless leader ( not black man ) can transform Ghana to Thailand in only 10 years.
