nah out of all the property videos I've watched I acc get you guys, you break it down so nicely and don't use those complex words that people who are new to learning won't get. Wish you all the success
Excellent vidéo and thanks for sharing it. I am planning to get into rent to rent but I am a bit overwhelmed by the different steps. Could you help by explaining which step to take first second...? Thanks in advance
@@FontaineBrothers Thanks for your speedy reply. I am thinking about having a mentor as well. How much do you a mentor could cost? Do you do any mentoring yourself? The things I am not sure about Do I need to register at company House as a limited company before I start anything else? Here is my e-mail:epohpierre@hotmail.com We can carry on inbox You are an inspiration. Well done
Pierre Epoh Moudio Thanks mate! No we do not mentor people. We were mentored by Napa Bafikele which was good because we told us every we had to do and answered any questions we had once we did not know what to do.
Hi Guys, Enjoying the content! Just one question if you don't mind me asking, do you use a corporate let agreement or a management agreement & why? I currently use a management agreement however, I noticed you mentioned you do not have to pay for CMP if it's not a management agreement
Good stuff lads! making the dream happen! How to do you go about using a property that requires a licence to operate as an HMO? Have you ever applied for the licence while in negotiations with the landlord? thanks!
Hey thanks for the detailed video! I just have one question if u don’t mind in regards to the client money protection. As a rent to rent agent as I will be taking a profit after tenants pay the rent do I still need the protection in this case? Also on the tenancy can I not have the landlords name on there as I am technically not the owner?
Some qualifications will be coming in but they haven't said when. But at the moment you basically just need to be complaint as a deal sourcer as its pretty much the same at the moment
Completely new here, would you pay for these insurance companies and the other things you mentioned in the video before you find a property to do rent to rent or do you pay for it after you find a property to do rent to rent? Thanks.
@@FontaineBrothers cheers. also you mentioned insurance desk for rent 2 rent insurance. i was told by them that rent 2 rent insurance is something the LL takes out. Which insurance do you have for you business - public or professional indemnity insurance? :)
Concerning Redress Scheme and "Operating as a Property manager" - Does this also apply when using a "commercial lease" contract? Or just a Management agreement? Thanks
Yes when acting as an agent you must use client money protection. Contracts must always be checked over by a professional because it not all commercial lease or management agreements have the same contents.
Thanks for the practical and succinct summary! Very helpful. What are the pros and cons of acting as the landlord directly in contact with tenants vs acting as the management agent?
