Rent Your House Tax Free - The Augusta Rule 

What if you live in Cherokee County, GA where they passed a requirement of short term rental permit to cash in on anyone doing AirBNB at all during the year? 25% tax increases (average homesteaded resident, can be higher) multiple years and counting. Manhattan, NYC eventually passed the same rule I think.

My husband is a truck driver and uses our driveway to perform oil changes and wash the tractor.....can we use the Augusta rule?
