i think it turned out great + the contact paper could be great for someone trying to decide what kind of countertops they may want a good non committal way to try out different styles!

In a rental we were in i came home one day to our back splash all cracked ( shattered look..but stayed stuck to the wall- didnt move) We put clear contact over the top which actually looked cool...which is just as well because the real estate didnt fix it for us while we were there- they fixed it when we moved out
