Just found these guys on you tube, is there anything they can't play, if you weren't watching them I would argue that it was the original bands, genius.
In the 80’s when I was just barely legal to drink in pubs in Baguio City (a mountain city in Northern Philippines known for its year-round spring weather), “A Horse With No Name” was a staple for bands and solo artists that performed in each of the city’s pubs. That generation had mastered duplicating the sounds of foreign bands like America, CSN, BeeGees, EWF, and the famous bands of the 60’s and 70’s. That kinda slowed down when indie bands singing OPM (original Pilipino music) started to dominate the airwaves, pubs, and gig venues. These songs lived on, however, because they have become permanent parts of the karaoke and videoke “repertoire.” The REO bros must have been exposed to these songs from family karaoke which is often a must-do when families hang out, have a party, or celebrate important occasions. For those wondering why even ordinary non-singing Filipinos can carry a tune, understanding these people’s fondness for karaoke can explain that. The REO bros represent the Filipino voice, musicality, and amazing ability to mimic sound.
This is the first time i see a band being able to pull off sounding just like the Beatles/Bee Gees/Beach Boys to perfection. And everyone in the band sings like a lead besides being highly proficient with their instruments. Its like having Paul McCartney, Sting, Mark Knopfler & Phil Collins playing in the same band.
In Tin Man, RJ is shifting from guitar-playin to piano-playing, and back, while singing, without missing a note or beat is just amazing. The whole team is just outstanding.
Simply amazing. I never heard anyone come even close to sounding like America, much less sound better!!! My hat's off to these guys. You give me hope in this world...
Having grown up with the singing group named "America" and having seen them in concert twice, I will say, once again "Nobody does Beatles better" and now, "Nobody does America better than The Reo Brothers!"
It seems that the only band I ever heard covering the difficult song in different legendary band group. They play effortless, clean, fresh and crisps voice.
Ralph looks like just playing with a toy... he makes it looks so effortlessly when he does the bass....the first time I watched him, I thought, is he really the one doing the bass? LOL! All of these brothers do excellent job!

Your drummer is phenomenal, He sounds like a Beach Boy one moment the to the America lead singer! What Talent! Your Lead guitarist/keyboard/lead singer is quite phenomenal as well.
1974 was a great year for hit music and hit music stations thanks to the Reo Bros for bringing me back to that great year it really reminded me of that summer
The keyboard guy, playing guitar and simultaneously singing the Tin Man is amazing!! What a talent..has an astonishing voice, sounds like the original. I love when the drummer has the lead vocal part. I find he has an amazing voice. Don't get me wrong they are all fantastic but there is something about the drummer's voice that is very appealing to me.

After watching most of their live streaming US concerts in the past weeks, what I can only say is that these siblings are incredibly talented. Ok. This is amazing!!! It reminds me being a child. Mom is Thai and would sing along to this. Gives me chills. Bass player is consistently great and the harmonies are on point. Good job fellows!!!

I'm an 80s guy. Spent my young adult years there. My first real concert was Ozzy Osbourne in 1981. I was 16. A few years and a boatload of concerts later, I had a boss who'd been a 60s hippie who decided it would have cool to torture me by dragging me to a small venue to see a couple of aging 60s bands: Steppenwolf with John Kay and America. I had no idea what I was in for, but I was game. I thought it would be fun to see how goofy the old guys were. The venue was a 2,000 seater and we could've hit the stage with a guitar pick from where we sat. Would've been able to see John Kay's eyes, but he wore shades, of course. No pyro, no smoke, no mirrors. And one of the most incredible live performances I've ever seen. Ironically, I saw a couple of other bands at that same venue later, House of Lords, Nelson, Guns 'n Roses, and we all know what happened afterward with those guys, but it would be years before i saw a more passionate communion of musicians than I did with America and Steppenwolf that night. And it wasn't Guns 'n Roses, even though that show was right after Appetite dropped. The best bands are and have always been those for whom the music is the most important thing in the room. You guys remind me of those bands, those people who love what they do and whose music has a divine quality that cannot be captured. Not on vinyl, tape, disc or bit. They have to be seen to be fully appreciated because the performance holds the magic.

My first concert was the Blizzard of Oz tour too! It was at the popular creek music theater in Hoffman Estates, Il. Def Leppard was the opening act on their High and Dry tour. Ahhh... The memories. Thanks 👍
