@@noahrosetta1260 Look up The Beats. Some of their songs are insanely good. Like That Means a Lot by them sounds so much like Paul, it's not 100%, but it's probably the closest cover band in existence.
I also sang this song playing bass on US Army camp night club stage in Munsan, South Korea, in 1968 but I had to do that piano solo by whistling (through teeth, not lips) because the lead guitar didn't want to practice. This team's pianist played a real thing!
I'm just old enough to remember hearing the Beatles sing this when it came out on the handy transistor radio, Transistors made the radio a handy size it was the first time you could really carry music with you as you walked around. The Alternative was the old valve radios they were big wooden things connected to electricity and your parents picked the stations you would listen to, No TV in my house we couldn't afford one. There are very few covers of the Beatles that I like. I've listened to them so many times. I have to say I'm really impressed with your sound and harmonies very much like the Beatles. Well done.
sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
One of the biggest distractions of "Beatles Bands' is they fool you into believing the music is good because you are more focused on the wigs and outfits they are wearing. Now these 4 lads are just dressed casual and have no hype but the music they are producing is so outstanding it is hard at times to realize they are not the original four. Keep up the great work.
Exactly, their music is a lot better than most of the Beatles Tribute I've heard, very authentic and I've seen the original Beatlemania in Philly. I heard this song and it blew me away how much they sound like the Beatles
The first rule to cover the Beatles ; You dont cover the Beatles unless you're the reincarnated version of The Beatles . What a wonderful bunch of guys loved your music keep the spirit alive guys.
Tipsy McStagger That feels a bit unnecessary. To denote an entire state as one viewpoint, that we only care about our guns? Sure, we tend toward a conservative side in elections, but most Michigan residents are normal, caring American citizens, like you.
How ironic is this? The Beatles had a very bad experience in the Philippines and hated the Philippines with a passion but the best and most accurate group that ever covered them are from the Philippines 👍...mabuhay!!!
These guys impress me so much because they play lines that were orignally played by orchestras or session musicians, or created by the production magic of George Martin.... It's a really beautiful thing to see so talented musicians recreating it live. Kudos to you REO Brothers. Love you.
"In My Life" I'm glad to have the chance to hear the REO Brothers. I didn't have the 5 pesos to get in the Rizal Memorial Stadium to watch The Beatles in July 1966. Came to live in the US in 1972 after college. Had a chance to watch George Harrison at the Oakland Coliseum in the mid 70s, Paul McCartney at the Berkeley Memorial Stadium in the 80s. Never had a chance to see John nor Ringo. BUT The REO Brothers are here and I'm enjoying their Beatles' Music !!! Thank you guys !
Been a Beatles fan since the 60's and if I close my eyes, I would think it was them singing this. Excellent job guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best cover ever, including any of the Beatles tribute bands
If I closed my eyes for a blind "taste test" I'm not sure I could tell the difference between you and The Beatles. And I've been listening to The Beatles since _before_ Ed Sullivan. Excellent job!
@geert cautereels The analogues have a whole truckload of musicians and instruments to back them up. The Reo Bros do it all by themselves and their vocals are actually better quality than the analogues (much more feeling). But both groups are great at what they do.
You guys are so damn good you make 90% of the actual Beatles Tribute bands want to quit and sell their instruments. I’m 67 and I know The Beatles pretty much inside and out. I’m truly impressed! 👍👍
I love how you guys nailed the harmony parts of this song. Many cover bands don't get George Harrison's lower harmony completely, but you guys do. Congrats!!!
Amazing job... the difference I find beetween you and some other Beatles "tribute bands" is that all of you boys, are REALLY FEELING the music of the Beatles. Each note, each chord, each voice. Congratulations from a 55 years old Beatle fan. I've been a musician on the past too, and I'm so demanding on that. Congratulations again. It's been a pleasure to listen to you !!!!!
IMHO, their best Beatles cover. The vocals and harmonies are on point, great guitar and bass work, stunning piano solo and the drumming part is on point too (it requires a really light hand, it´s a very important part of the song before the choruses)
There are places I'll remember All my life, though some have changed Some forever, not for better Some have gone, and some remain All these places had their moments With lovers and friends, I still can recall Some are dead, and some are living In my life, I've loved them all But of all these friends and lovers There is no one compares with you And these memories lose their meaning When I think of love as something new Though I know I'll never lose affection For people and things that went before I know I'll often stop and think about them In my life, I'll love you more Though I know I'll never lose affection For people and things that went before I know I'll often stop and think about them In my life I'll love you more
Whoa really didn't know that. Thought just a normal piano speed. That's why i was lil bit disappointed the keyboard guy did not nailed it..but now i know..he totally nailed it.
THE KEYBOARD SOLO IS TATTOOED IN MY BRAIN AS IT IS MY FAVORITE PART OF THE SONG. IT IS ACTUALLY VERY CLOSE ESPECIALLY THE LEFT-HAND PART. I CHECKED OUT OTHER KEYBOARD COVERS ON YT AND NOTHING COMES CLOSER TO THE ORIGINAL THAN THE ONE PLAYED HERE.
Absolutely incredible and yes he absolutely sounds like Lennon one of the best if not the best cover I have ever heard phenomenal tone sound voice harmonies these guys are amazing absolutely fantastic
Duncan Robertson exactly. They keep everything the same. That’s what I like. It’s a Beatles song. Not their song. I hate when people change up the song in their covers.
If God will give me 3 wishes. 1.) wishing my mom is still alive 2.) i’ll become a lawyer 3.) the reo brothers will be recognized world wide parrallel to their talents
@@rodramos5618 Yes Rod I hope atty Dan will go with his dad and their entire clan too. Of course his mother humming IN MY LIFE while dressing up for the affair...stay safe everyone.
Wow - what a nice version of that song! True to the spirit of the Beatles. I loved the harmonies - something we don't hear very often. It sounded just the way John, Paul and George used to harmonize. Great job! Thanks!
Note perfect. Perfect harmonies. The keyboard middle was faultless. You're even using a cello bass, albeit a right hand version. It's like you resurrected The Fab Four. Well played gentlemen, well played indeed!
I listened to "Girl" covered by this group and I repeated it like ten times and left them a note of praise and appreciation for their talent. Here I go again repeating this song again and again. This was one of my favourite Beatles song and it was one of my first experiences on the guitar
There are so many covers of this song on YT, but many by a single singer. You however kept the essence of the song, the harmonies and Ringo's distinctive drums. Very good performance!
