If any of the worlds top ELO tribute acts watch this they are going to quiver in their boots and end up as a bubbling mess of liquid on the floor and wonder how the hell five lads can perform to perfection a song LIVE in a small home music room that they can only achieve with at least 8 band members, a full PA and lighting system with back projection and an up front mixing engineer in a big auditorium ... this defies belief ... but you had better believe it folks because this is REAL and these lads are THE REAL DEAL!
This is nothing short of stunning. I've heard these guys cover Beatles and Eagles stuff, but this is a whole new level of sophistication. As each section approached, I was wondering whether they'd nail it and, of course, they did. Great rendition of a Classic Song!
Hi. I'm from Brazil and I think REO is the best cover band there is. I watch and appreciate everything they do. They could schedule a trip to Brazil, but don't take too long, as I'm 70 years old. I love when they do Beatles. Congratulations young people.

Came here because I fell into a RU-vid black hole after watching a Bee Gees live video (Staying Alive)..........Now I'm in a REO Brothers black hole because you guys are absolutely insanely talented. Mr. Blue Sky is my favourite song and I've never seen it so accurately covered by ANYONE before. Keep up the amazing work lads because you are destined for greatness.

you made my day guys. Expectedly so coz ELO is what The Beatles would have sounded like in the '70's. John Lennon even said once that ELO is the son of the Beatles. This is the band that The Beatles most likely could've turned into, sonically speaking.
Lads ... looks as though you've really 'rocked the boat' and 'thrown a spanner in the works' with this one as many people were not expecting you to tackle a song like this that was recorded using a ton of equipment in a multi million pound studio using a myriad of musicians and penned by the great Geoff Lynne ... well I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT ... you have set the bar so high now that all other tribute bands worldwide will have to up their game now to get anywhere near you ... as usual you have delivered the goods 'par excellence' ... the comments and views so far speak for themselves ... It is a mark of artistic growth when you as a band are not afraid to tackle more challenging arrangements such as this. What I like most is that most of your covers are anchored on very solid vocal harmonizations. As to those few who always dismiss you as mere cover band, I would not worry about them. Great singers and bands have been doing covers for ages and it is considered art. You will pay $500 to get into a world class symphony hall or opera house just to hear a world class band of musicians and singers trying their mighty best to do a COVER of a music composed and performed centuries ago. How else would we know about Mozart or Beethoven if people did not cover them?

My dad, who passed away 20 years ago did a lot of covers by playing big band music of Woody Hermann, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Roger Williams & others, on piano. They are of course the 'REO Brothers'. I called them more appropriately the ' Renaissance Band' because of their impeccable & perfect production of the classic songs of our time.

One thing I love about REO Brothers is they do such perfect covers and they do them on modern medium making them sound so clear and sharp. It’s like listing to the master tape of a classic. Just brilliant work.
If you liked "Chicago" and "Earth Wind and Fire" check out "Leonid and Friends". The instruments sound better than the original recording (if that's possible) and they sing very very very close to perfect too.
As a life long “self described” E. L. O. nut, and having a man crush on Jeff Lynne for my entire adult life, this is the best cover of an E. L. O. song I’ve ever heard!! Well done fellas. It’s a natural for you to cover Jeff, as I believe they were the new Beatles after they disbanded. They even used Jeff as a producer. That speaks volumes. Keep it up guys….you’re AWESOME. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
