That’s when I realized I was really born in this era of beautiful music bcos for the longest time all of my favorite songs and bands are actually from the 80’s!

Putting candles in the window is a tradition that goes back hundreds of years. This is how travellers knew where the next house or rest stop was, while travelling at night. Creedence Clearwater Revival also mention the practice in the line "Put a candle in the window" from their 1970 song "Long as I can see the light". Belinda Carlisle put a modern spin on it when she sang "Darling leave a light on for me".

Greetings from Mexico, I love what I am seeing on your profile. And i apologize for jumping into your comment in such a way. I'm really looking forward to get to know you better. If you're comfortable with it, I'd love to talk somewhere outside the RU-vid comment section. and get to know each other a bit more intimately. What do you think?😊

This performance was 1985 and the year I was born. After the age of 20 that was when I discovered this amazing band and feel in love with their music. That’s when I realized I was really born in this era of beautiful music bcos for the longest time all of my favorite songs and bands are actually from the 80’s!

I was born in '95 and was raised on REO and other legends from the 80's, and just two days ago I finally got to see them in concert with Styx and Loverboy. Even after 40 years they're still touring and sound as good as ever!

I love this song so much, including “In My Dreams” (which was my theme song when it became a hit and until now). REO Speedwagon’s music is so wonderful it hits straight to my heart. Nostalgic of my teenage years. 🥰

Born in 83, I’ve always loved Speedwagon! This was the first song I knew from them. Love it live because it is raw AND they were arguably the biggest band in the word at the time of Live Aid in 85. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Alot of 80s rock bands get too much disrespect by so called metalheads. Remember that these guys worked hard for almost 10 years playing small venues before they got huge in 1980

Gary was very underrated, he certainly played a les Paul how it was meant to be played, REO were never the same without him.
