Why does Kevin Cronin get so much hate for these classic REO ballads? Here With Me is absolute gold! This one is any day as good as Keep On Loving You and Can’t Fight This Feeling. REO are responsible for inventing the power ballad and this should have been a number one! Thanks for posting and keeping REO’s music alive.
Kc gets slack for alot of things including things which are not his fault and involves Gary, so sad. He's human after all and isn't perfect. I love this song so much and agree it should have been a hit. I also wish I had been that girl in the video doing those scenes with my Music Man.😂😉

Now I just lost my 1st cousin Colby Copell. He was 41 years old. Heart issues. He passed this month of July 2023. Life is so so darn short. Get right with God, guys. Jesus Christ is our savior. He died on the cross for our sins. Amazing He is. In Jesus Christ Name, Amen.
REO Speedwagon's music has brought together, brought back together, and kept together more couples than any other band. I grew up in the 70's and 80's and REO Speedwagon or any other great bands music of that era will never ever get old. Great memories and Rock 0n!🎶🎧

Dedicate this song to my Momma. She passed on November 15, 2022. We buried her on December 19, 2022 cause we had to gather the funds. I wish you was still with us Momma. I remember i was 16 yrs old when i first heard this song on radio. i was laying in the bed and this song came on and cant stop loving u came on. i jumped up and said to myself pls tell me who sing this song. been loving it ever since. now im going on 37yrs old. and still when im going through a difficult time with the man that i loved for 10yrs now he doing 15yrs to life. and only 31yrs old i play Reo Speedwagon and tears run down my face everytime.
well be glad you can still see him and talk to him. the man I loved is no longer in this world. which I know he's in a better place now. But, doesn't make it any easier when you want then here with you.
One thing about 80's music, we make good choices overall that don't end up as 15 yrs to life to prison. Closest thing is Skid Row 18 & Life, and that was more of a warning than anything else. Make better choices and try not to kill people next time.
One of those songs you haven't heard since it came out 30 years ago that just inexplicably pops into your head. You pull it up...and realize you STILL know all the lyrics. And if you say you don't like REO Speedwagon...you are only lying to yourself!
REO is my favorite band of all time. Great music, great lyrics. I've met Kevin 3 times over the years, great guy and had the honor of meeting my guitar hero, MR. GARY RICHRATH. I long for the good Ole days of down to earth Rock N Roll. It is nice to still see REIO touring, knowing Kevin, he'll be touring on his death bed 😆, the man has SO MUCH ENERGY, l doubt it'll ever die
Was born in '91, and wasn't even exposed to this kind of music until two years ago. First time I listened to these guys, my mind instantaneously got transported into the days I couldn't have possibly experienced, unless as a sperm cell. That's the power of 80s music. They are the manifestation of immortality.

I have listened to Reo Speedway on since I was really little. I remember my dad playing it when i was like 4. Back then and even now ReoSpeedwagon is like candy for my ears. Everytime I listen to their music i get nostalgia of when I was little listening to this in my dad's car while I played the air guitar in the backseat ☺😂

This is rapidly becoming my favorite Speedwagon song - love all their stuff (especially the Richrath era), but this is just a great demonstration of their mastery of a power ballad. Wish we had this quality of music (consistently, anyway) today!

I can say 80's songs in general transcends over time. The melodies, lyrics, sounds and overall appeal are so pleasant to the ears. They are just immortals that never fails to capture your heart to never skip a beat.
