Fostering cats is an awesome way to enjoy having a pet while managing the cost of living with another creature. Plus if you travel or work long hours you can take a break from fostering vs having to get a pet sitter. Also, I think the squirrel is Snowglobe Emily's pet. She's trained it to scare you at the window because she's evil haha.

I just went and adopted two kittens from the shelter I work at and I've never been so happy in my life. They really help keep you in a positive mood.

I think Snowglobe Emily needs a WHOLE WARDROBE! Am I insane for thinking it would be fun to make her little hats? Beret... tiara... top hat... toque... little 80s style headband... a booty guru fluffy makeup doing headband with the big bow... and cat ears of course...

I own 660 books with 22 books on the way from #bookoutlet. 6 bookcases with 5 shelves and 105 audio books. Giving me a total of 765 total. But i know I’m getting some more books for Christmas from the family as presents.

You shiuld absolutely get a cat! I spent all of today helping out at a shelter, and there are so SO many wonderful friendly animals there and most of them don't even get a chance at home 🥺 Please consider adopting from one of your local shelters and letting one of them be your friend 💕

We also have some grey ones but apparently the black ones are so aggressive that the red and grey ones are disappearing :/

My parents were both big readers. They tried counting the books in the house once, got to somewhere around 10000 and gave up. Every room had bookshelves and all of them were bursting with books. I love bookshelves.

At my old house we had a whole legion of squirells that ran across the metal roof every morning and it sounded so terrifying. It sounded like there were 50 but in reality it was probably like 4... Also, YES GET A CAT!! :)

Snow Globe Emily needs a santa hat. Or a Grinch hat if she's in a bad mood. When you counted the books, were you only counted books you own, or did you count library books? 666 is hilarious though. :D Yes, get a cat. A black one to match the creepy squirrel. (Never seen a black squirrel before).

Shouldn't that squirrel be sleeping? Winter hybernation and everything? My only explanation is that Snowglobe Emily had something to do with that so it can keep scaring you. Maybe you should name the squirrel too!

Peanuts aren’t that healthy for squirrels. Your dad should give it fruit and veggies, or nuts that are still in the shells. I used to have squirrels where I lived. They neighbours tamed them. They would climb right up on people.

Well... You can 1: Adopt the Squirrel (i mean... he/she is gorgeous, he seems to like you, he can take care of himself, you wouldn't have to buy most of his food and he seems to think you are the intruder so... just let him in LOL) 2: you can adopt a cat (- they hate squirrels so you will have plenty of entertainment; - they can make you company when you feel lonely or be independent to the point you feel ignored. But do not be fooled, you will NEVER own the cat, The Cat owns you. As for the cat eating your dead body (LOL), think it would be a complete waste of good (expensive) meat ( I'm just kidding, please don't get offended with my dark humor). 3: you can fix the door with the wood they left you by gluing it and fixing it with a plate and screws from underneath so you won't see it. You can then completely disguise the cut with polyester putty for cars (bicomponent), sand it and then paint it OR with self-adhesive vinyl. Good Luck

@@BookswithEmilyFox good to read you got it. If it's the copy I gifted you! :) And crazy! I was born in a small Dutch military town and my whole family was in the underground. I think I read it the first time when I was 10. And for school Of course. The Canadians actually helped my grandmother and grandfather in the end of the war. They had Jewish people in their home. They gave them extra food. 😊 I do have several copies of Anne Frank as well.
