Hopefully my Norwegian Hair Transplant didn't throw you off! Is the Adonis Juice worth the squeeze? Is this something you think has real value in people's 2024 home gyms? NoFate Affiliates Page: nofate247.com/affiliates/
It means a lot, if you had half the idea of the time it takes me to edit. So glad you're liking them! What are your thoughts on the Adonis? Worth the squeeze or not something to consider if you already have existing gym pieces
Damn love how it lets you add weight too. I have dual Athenas which can max out at 220lbs this would be helpful as I'm 6'4" and weigh 240 so have to do weighted pullups. It's just so smart to have that and you can use bands+weights too. Great review.
It's absolutely a great design, kinda wish the stack at least had an option to increase to 250-300, but I get it. Most people won't need more than 210 let alone the options to add extra plates or bands
I go online to see Dr. Mike review what Hollywood stars are doing actually. Great spotlight on highlighting the paid for reviews. Slimy. Great roundup as always man!
I agree a single stack is all you need unless you are working out with partner, my wife does different exercises and lifts 80% less weight so it comes in handy otherwise single is 100% all a person needs.
Casual-dropping-of-fancy-French-words game: on point. (God tier: munching on snails and frog legs as your protein stack while reviewing this sweet piece of gear.)
Standard basement height around here is 90”. That’s actually a really common basement height. I really wish they’d offer this in a shorter height. Great review though! Keep it up man
Yeah the plate loaded version does come off as pricey. I know it's heavy and made with 3x3 11 gage steel. Assuming they purposely brought the price points under the competition but didn't want to go much lower than competition to keep profits high enough to justify R&D
@@NoFate247 I watched the adonis review part . It can be used with a bench. Customers don’t have to buy the pegasus . I just was confused how you can rate if it’s worth what they are asking if you haven’t used (it in my opinion.) How well it works or doesn’t work along with the quality of build is what’s important to rate the worthiness. It can be built solid and not work well. Which one wouldn’t know unless they used it.
It seems very innovative! However, I'm pretty limited on space so I'm not the target demographic. I'm still leaning to a pr5000 with the ares 2.0 for my set up, but I'll have to win the lottery or something to get that. that was still pretty good editing! You ought to compete in the Spring garage gym competition coming up in May@@NoFate247
@@Mench951 The lat pull down on the adonis is just better. Also this would create a walk through rack - so you could put storage behind between the two adonises but not not behind the ares.
He does so much for thy community. Plus I think we should highlight more achievements of people who might be too nice to toot their own horn. Also....next time you are selling headbands I would like to buy one please
@@NoFate247 Absolutely, and it is the smallest trade off for 365 temperature control...I have a lat low row in the back of my PR4000 but would love a selectorized for accessories.
@@NoFate247 Yeah, definitely not something I was expecting, but it's a good idea, Rep can use it's resources to improve what is already a good set of adjustables without having to reinvent the wheel so to speak
I feel like if Rep cared about the home gym community they had just started with a base to turn an Athena into a stand alone functional cable column. The Adonis is nice and all but it's overkill for most home gyms. Granted, I'm biased in that the Adonis just doesn't fit into my space.
@@NoFate247 I'm in an attic. It's a 12'x20' room with 5' walls converging on an 11' ridge, rafters are at 92" every 4 feet. One of the tall walls has a my only window, the other has doors.
Maybe I'm the odd one out here.... I think that the Adonis is overrated. At 3K, it has an underwhelming weight stack and a middle pulley that is next useless by itself. To get the full benefits from a functional trainer, you'll have to buy another Adonis which totals at 6k? Lol! I could buy a lat/low row with 300lbs and a big functional trainer for $4500. In my opinion, the Adonis seems more suited for the home gym equipment collectors.
It's an interesting topic, I could probably make a ten minute video on it. It's very much like companies creating mailing lists or GGR starting a newsletter. Everyone's trying to grab a piece from the same pie.
