Think about it this way: Someone asks you a question, you decline to answer "no thank you", head into a meeting, then some time later , you emerge from said meeting and they are there, still, continuing to ask questions though you made it abundantly clear you would not engage. How would you respond? I think, "What is wrong with you" is a very natural response to someone who is pestering you.
