I WAS THINKING EXACTLY THAT! 😂 She looks like that auntie that she is a free spirit and wants to have fun while visiting Mexico. Yes, somehow I feel like her personality differs so much from Dolightfuls other cheerful creations but she still fits in so well. She really reminds me of a character from a chinese drama called the Dan Princess and everyone thought she was bad but she was very loving and protective of those close to her.

Mai Tai feels like like the new young woman on the beach, while Margarita is the experienced bar babe. Margarita still turns heads when she walks down the sand, and she takes Mai Tai under her wing, to teach her how to enjoy life, serve a look, and slay the competition. They're a power duo that will soon become... a trio! I admit I had similar reservations about her until I imagined her sitting at the bar, surveying her kingdom as Mai Tai frolics in the waves. A true queen of the beach!

I think the doll base fought against you here, but your workmanship is as creative and bright as ever. Margarita is beautiful and powerful and pairs really well aesthetically with Mai Thai. I do think your star creation in this project is the headdress, though! You pulled it off so casually but it was extremely well designed and intricately crafted. The grapes are so beautiful and remind me of jewelry I've seen at the Met museum.

At first watch I was kind of really struck at the difference between Margarita and Mai Tai, but I watched them in order this time and I'm blown away how their intensities match completely and yet compliment each other! I love this doll so much! Tho I do agree with you I think the eyes are slightly too big? Maybe it’s because the face sculpt is so defined it makes the face look more mature, which makes the big eyes pop out more and look a bit off? (Since big eyes are usually associated with a younger more innocent look?) But either way she is a very beautiful doll!

I gotta say, Miss Margarita came out so good! I actually really like her face up - I think her large eyes give her some kind of vibe that I can't really put a name to.
