9:50 Yeah, you're right, it's the flock that makes the basing from back in the day unconvincing. Not the BRIGHT-TO-THE-POINT-OF-LUMINOUSITY YELLOW-GREEN COLOUR NOT FOUND IN NATURE.
@@KabinMiniatures I regret selling my high elves and Imperial Guard armies. Sold them both in 1998-99 when my interests changed in year 12. I bought Orcs and Goblins in 2000 though and I still have them. So I can at least see those paint jobs. Not quite as nostalgic as the first models I was painting in the 95. I’ll kill to get them back.
I see! Sounds like a very cool collection of first models! Glad you have your Orcs and Goblins still though 👍 I know the feeling, I sold some of my Middle Earth collection, Tyranids and some other stuff when I started loosing interest in the hobby, and sometimes I wish I hadn't...
@SWATDRUMMUH That's a great suggestion! It could definitely be a future video here on the channel 👍 In the meantime, I know I've seen good tutorials on RU-vid, but I don't remember what channel(s) at the top of my head... did you recently get an airbrush?
@@clanpsi Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I should have gone for other colours? 🤔 or maybe more contrast? I'll consider that for the future, every project is a chance to learn and grow!
If the twelve years olds version of yourself knew what you know now you could have been an 'eavy metal painter, not withstanding the pearl clutchers and their child labour laws!
