The entire length of this press on shaft is just one quarter of an inch. Its popular for repairing desk, table and mantle clocks with a maximum dial thickness of 3/32 of an inch.
It's an American-Made Mini Quartz Movement that operates on one common AA battery. Normally this type of movement is installed using thin double-faced tape because there's no threaded metal shaft to use a hex nut on.
In some cases you will have cases that actually have clips and when that situation you can just pop this in, your ready to go.
We have two short sets of black hands that we offer for the short shaft motor. We also list the dimensions of the mounting holes in the hands.
Do not assume that any round press on hands you may have will fit. You will need good calipers or micrometer check these measurements.
