Hmmmm, Let me see. I could open my own microwave repair shop. People would bring me their broken stuff. I would open the microwave door and stare inside, while jotting stuff down in my clip board. I would charge them 5 bucks and tell them they should take it to a qualified technician. I learned a lot from this video.
This was very helpful. I thought I was going to have to buy a new OTR microwave. I did exactly as the video instructed and bam! the heating resumed. Thanks for making this video. It made my day.
What a useless video... Dont title your video something it isn't... Repair a microwave that's not heating? More like, watch 3 minutes of some guy telling you to buy a new microwave.
I really just want to know ways to disable microwave oven, either by punching in numbers on the key pad, hidden switches, or more drastically placing something inside of it to permanently disable it. I would appreciate some guidance.
I have a new microwave that I bought in July and my microwave isn't heating up. Its above our range but there's plenty of times where the stove isn't in use and microwave still isn't heating up.
Help! I have the same microwave and this morning I inadvertently double pressed the start button and now when I hit START I can see the count down from 30 seconds (as it should); the light comes on and I hear a click except now the power that kicks on to start cooking doesn’t start. Aghhh! I knew when I pressed it twice like that something triggered another command. “I know” it isn’t broken, nothing popped no fuse or anything like that but I think I triggered another command that stops it from turning/cooking.
Mine microwave doesn’t heat anymore everything else works the weird part is it actually worked again a time or two after we had a power bump but ultimately quit again for good anyone think they can narrow down which part has failed on a smart guy speculating
Come on me if you know electricity and a multimeter you are hood to go, my and along you cut power from the plug thats it. There is not way thing is gonna kill you. This is more like money see let me call a tech anyways to fix my problems. Even if stored energy somewere if you use a screwdriver it will spark and energy will go to ground. Obviously if there is power
' repair a microwaves. thats not heating' first you have to trace the problem with e.g then give a demostrations were to find the screws and how to troubleshoot it every single part if the problem is not heating there are only so many things that can faulty. Micro switch. Board. Et cetera. How and where to check power how to prove a part is wrong by ohms and incoming voltage. DIY not calling a tech. As long as you dont touch any mental, current( electricity) will let you go is lazy and feels more comfortable going to metal than skin ( less resistant) but what do i know im just a 20 years old guy that study electricity in youtube and internet websites
The most common problem for a microwave not heating 71% of the time is a blown fuse inside the microwave and it's a $10 part. Why didn't you explain this? That's why I gave you a thumbs down.
