Since the amount of movement on the little counter was so small, I thought this was not going to work. But, it did. FIXED IT!! YAY!!! Thank you so much for this video.
@@nelli8223 it is probably due to acrylic yarn- the static build up and messes up the counter- run the yarn through a dryer sheet- that should get rid of the issue- good luck
wow...... I am so happy I found this I have a little one and big, both counters are messed up. I just FIXED the little one.... happy dance happy dance!!!!!
I can get my needles to line up on my machine I the red ring want let the. white needles line up the black needles are line up right can you make a video on how to line the needles in place thanks
I’m having issues with my Addi King. I tried to fix the counter and was being very careful and the wires came out. Now I don’t know how to reattach the wires
Wheniturnmy handle My addi makes a grinding sound. Like it’s not catching the gears. Gets hung and wont turn sometimes. I only had it 2 months. I replaced the handle and the gold ring and its still slipping. Any help would be greatly appreciated
If you bought it new I would definitely contact them about exchanging it. From what I understand they do have a good warranty on them and their customer service has been highly praised.
Any idea as to why it won’t go past the black hooks? It doesn’t make a difference if the red switch is up or down! Took apart but nothing broken but won’t clear the long counter bar from what I can see. Sending back if I can’t figure it out.
Ruth Hettig Hi Ruth, I have no idea why other than maybe the switch from circular knitting to flat panel knitting is not engaging correctly. So sorry you’re having this problem.
Does the counter ever turn off (go blank)? When I'm not using mine (and have already cleared it), it stays at 0. I thought it would go blank after a certain amount of time.
Yes it does go blank/shut down when not in use. If you've cleared it before stopping it'll start back from zero at next use. If you've not cleared it before stopping, it'll pick up the count from its last use.
Thank you, Kim, for responding so quickly. :) I'm new to the Addi and all day yesterday it stayed at 0. After using it today, it did go blank! Two scarves done! Well, almost - finishing touches to go, but I'm loving it.
