Truth is, they do already know you're messing with them. They trust everyone is, but they have to go through the whole pitch, or else they would never make a commissioned sale. And they will get fired if they don't at least try. So it is true, they did know you are messing with them. But it's still their job. They get fired VERY easy and they fear for their jobs.

You know what's hilarious? When they run the tree command, randomly hit backspace. When the "scan" stops, they will be faced with Gibberish. I've done it twice and it's funny how fast they close the CMD window. So, not all of them copy/paste, they actually type out the error because I've deleted the middle of their message just hitting the backspace a few times. Be warned, it's hard not to lol when they see it 🤣

You're cute af. Thank you for going after these guys. Sometimes I wonder if the first person that speaks to you(before they transfer the call to tech) genuinely believes their work/steps/methods are legit. They'd have to be unbelievably naive though. Regardless, the more people that harass these crooks the better. "Keep fighting the good fight." as they say!

you allow these calls to end pretty early. should set up a dummy email so that you can log in and take the conversation further. possibly gather some more details about who they are.

When they run DIR/s or TREE, just tap away on the delete key while its scrolling. They get so pissed when their scan results dont show up lol

I might've already said that, but you should use a capture card to get the footage on a second computer and have Aida 64 or any other CPU stress test running on your real machine. You can tell them it's been going randomly super slowly and just run the stress for a few seconds/minutes while they try to fight against it to do what they usually do! It'll slow them down soooo much, they'll start to get pissed at how slow the computer is! Let's see what kind of solution they'll come up with, knowing them they might try to sell you some ''downloadable RAM'' hahahaha

McAfee Inc. Product version: 8.3.0.395. I think I was scammed? My laptop was brand new and I kept getting this guy telling me to get the protection. Not 2 weeks after having my laptop it stops working and I had to send it in. It stopped working I never used it to get on line or anything. Is this legit? Can you help me out with this?

Next time you should answer their Questions like this: Is this your Computer? "No i just stole it" Are you the only user? "No me and my Gang are using it. We are robbers and we steal Computers with important Informations on them." What did you do? "I watched all of the Porn in the Internet" "We need it running. It was stolen from a Bank and has a lot of Credit Card Informations from hundreds of People" Then have a few Text Documents on it with fake Credit Card Informations. Maybe he will try to copy them. And if he wants money just say "Sure just pick one of the Credit Card Numbers i stole from the Bank"
