Funny how casuals have no idea how well conditioned and how strong Jokic’s core is. The way he plays means carrying around muscle mass would only slow him down, reduce his efficiency, increase risk of injury (see Embiid) and hurt his game. There is a reason the best defensive players in the world are exhausted by the 4th qtr after chasing Jokic for 30-38 minutes as Jokic revs up. .

Right so the 8th seed has to go into Denver and win 4. Then assuming Denver wins that one. The winner of the 5/6 matchup has to go into Denver and win 4. I just don't see the Mavs or Clippers winning 4 games against Denver.
Bill Walton had one and a half seasons at a high level near Joker before his injuries shut off too much of his game. Walton was an excellent passer for a Center. He was no where near the top 3 in assists at any point and Joker has done for season after season and Joker is a better rebounder than Walton ever was. So no knock on Bill, but he isn't in the conversation with Joker.
Denver's biggest potential weakness is their depth. If anybody in the starting 5 misses a series, Denver could be knocked out. They don't have anybody on the bench who can replace AG, Porter, or KCP for 7 games straight. Also, Denver has struggled to guard Luka. The Mavs could possibly beat a healthy Denver in a 7 game series. Unlikely, but possible.
