This SilverCrest (Lidl) induction hob had a broken fan that wasn't turning. As a result the hob would refuse to operate when the temperature of the unit got too hot from the heat in the pan/pot. Lets see if we can fix it.
Hey I saw your video and successfully fixed my induction cooker. This was the first time I did anything electrical related and just wanted to say thanks!
nice thanks! I have same issue on a DUXTOP giving me an E1 error.. works great but when I tool it apart some fan blades were broken off and I could not get power to the fan... looked everywhere but cannot find a replacement fan here in states.. the part number is YHWF-118 and is 18v. 0.17a. .. it sure seems these are the exact same interior to my DUXTOP down to the fan!.. I was a little Leary about epoxying the fan blades back but maybe Ill take a shot.. also the fan does not run so I can run cooktop a minute or so and it errors out no fan comes on at all
And only now when you are done recognizing the intolerable noise it makes, you realized that you should have thrown that sorry fan out the window and bought a larger silent one and glued it on from the other side - which is what I will do. It will only require adding an inch to the knobs on which the stove stands. Even though there isn’t the faintest thing wrong with the original one - besides from the noise it makes.
