Repairing a failed rebuild and a second accident at the same time on this GMC Terrain

It is time to start replacing the parts the first rebuilder should have when they did this job for the first time. The picture at the end is the damage from the first accident but still would have required the same parts to do the job correctly. While straightening some small buckles in the floor is allowed, hammering out the dog leg and wheel house is not acceptable. If you require that much body filler to hide your work, you should probably let a professional do it. We will also make this Terrain one of those fancy ones with all the options like brakes and four wheels. Moving it around from here on should be a breeze!

It was before the internet and the big auction yards were around and buying from insurance auction yards you needed a dealer's license and a 40,000 bond of some sort. That and the introduction of the" re-branded title" was an instant price reduction.

Scott, I have very much enjoyed your videos, your builds, and your attention to detail. Not to mention your sense of humor! I fix cars for a living too, but I stick to the mechanical stuff, if I tried something like this, it would end very very badly! My dent repair skills end with a suction cup......or in my case, the toilet plunger. But give me an electrical concern, and I am all over it! Boring Build Friday is amongst my favorites, because these are cars I also work on! When you take them apart, I get to see areas of the same cars I fix that I would never normally see, and sometimes, it gives me insight on how I can do my job better.

Great video Scott!👍👍🍪🍪🍦 There's a gnome in the back of that Terrain. The roaming gnome is getting more camera time than Mr. Spotty. 2 wrongs make it right and 3 rights make a left.😉😂😂 There was something else but I done forgot what it was. Maybe it will come back to me later. See ya next week!

That gnome hates the camera but seems to come out when the camera comes on lately. lol

@@vehcor I always heard that gnomes don't like cameras but maybe this one was enchanted by pixey dust.😉😉🤣🤣🤣

@@vehcor well it's either that or watching some crap on TV so I might as well watch excellent workmanship with a side of "looks like someone has been here before humor".
