In this video I am showing you my Kundo 1951 torsion clock that I bought at the auction last week. I am showing you what is known as the Bible of these clocks that I highly recommend you purchasing to repair these clocks. I can tell that your passionate about clocks and that your a patience is far greater than mind, but I would have liked more information about the workings and in particular the torsion wires' role in the mechanism, and instructions on how to remove and replace it..John UK

I have been collecting the Carriage Style Anniversary Clock for the videos. I do hope my hands will hold up cleaning the main spring. I do want the disk pendulum some day.

I am currently working on to post a video of the Japan 100 day anniversary clock that I have. Carriage style also. The barrel is fixed on to the base of the plates. So that was a challenge putting that spring back in by hand. I dont think a spring winder would work with this type of clock because the plate of the clock wont allow the spring winder to work. So there are times that you have to be able to take the springs out and put them back in by hands. I have been doing it long enough that I know when to let go incase something goes wrong. LOL. So far I still have all my fingers. LOL. I too would love to have a disk pendulum clock. I keep getting out bid. When it is my time I will have one.

I decided that I needed to step into that arena again. After viewing your videos it allowed me to remember what I once knew. I will never be the expert that you are. I have way too many other style clocks that I have and would like to get working. So I will be coming to you from time to time with questions.

Hi sir just wondering if the wire all the way down to the pendulum is missing or broken on a kundo clock how much are the parts/cost of replacing or repairing just bought 1 for 5$ in Tijuana good condition thank you in advance

You can order the entire suspension assembly which costs more, or the blocks, and suspension wire. If you are missing the fork assembly then it might be best to order the entire system. Before you do you might want to get a copy of the 400 Day Clock Repair guide which will help you in ordering the right parts. I order my parts from timesavers. I believe they ship to your location.
