These clocks are made easy to change the Spring Wire for the pendulum if you know which wire to buy. That is why I bought the book for these Anniversary Clock I am working on.
The Barrel Spring is the hard part when doing it by hand. This clock had a very small barrel and was difficult to get the spring back into the barrel.
Because of the glass cover for this clock with the hole in the top so you can screw down the knob to hold the glass cover on, make this clock even more rare than your normal Anniversary Clocks.
I polish the brass base and clean the movement, including the barrel spring.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
