Good Video. Have an old apartment bathroom sink - Brownstone built 1925. How do I know if I need to replace the seat? Tried a long time ago to remove the seat with an angled seat wrench - didn't budge. How do you remove a seat that won't come loose? I'd have to bring the old seat to a plumbing supply house to get a replacement. Will changing the seat fix leaking? Right now, put plumbing tape around and in front of the washer on the stem to greatly slow leaking.
If you changed the washer and it still linking then the seat needs to be changed, If it wont loosen then get a grinder on a cordless drill and make a new seat by grinding the seat while still in the faucet, I've got a video that shows how to fix that. I'll locate it and send it to you
no problem, the connections are eccentric so you can match up with pretty much all the connections in the wall. these connections were 1/2" bit you can also ask for 3/4"adapters. Thanks for watching and asking a question
