@@MegaSafetyFirst Hi I wonder if this resistance, transistor and fuse modification can be applied on the Harman Kardon HKTS 210SUB / 230 Subwoofer circuit board? These are the parts used: Resistor: ERG-3SJ510 Transistor: SIHP15N50E-GE3 Fuse: 39212500440
Hi Sir; i, did the bass increase when you installed these parts? Resistor: ERG-3SJ510 Transistor: SIHP15N50E-GE3 but I recently bought a new original power board hkts210/230 from hkts210 / 230 (The R23 resistor was not 51 ohm 1w, instead it was 100 ohm 3w, and the C 30 was 471K 1KV instead of 102 1KV)
Thank you very much for your nice video. I have a different problem. My woofer has a patchy wireless connection to the sound bar. I have to put it right in front the bar for it to connect. What could be the problem? Is it with the transmitter or the receiver? Would appreciate your kind response and help.
What you forgott to tell is that the transistors you swopped to is with a conductive backplate and need isolation to the cooling plate, else it will short out to ground instantly. I also found out on my HK subwoffer that the input from amplifier where bad, connection lost from time to time, I started and changed my burnt out resistor, then it worked for a while, then same problem again, did the transistors but no, then I found the bad connection on the sound input, fixed :-) it was the common AUX input
I know this is a bit old now but I'm hoping someone can help. I have replaced the resistor in mine as it had clearly overheated and had actually melted the tracks on the board. I am now seeing the correct voltage on the four pin connector but not on the 2 pin connector. Any ideas?
I own a LG LAS855M soundbar. Which has wireless subwoofer. Power led cable is damaged by rat. Circuit board is completely safe inside a box. Only two set of cables passing inside.. one is for speaker which is strong and good. The other one is led cable and it's now torn into pieces. I need to bypass the led connection. Don't need to remove front panel since it's completely molded. Or any led connection near the circuit is fine just to complete the circuit. Please any one help on this
Hi there, thanks for the helpful video! Could you please inform the value of the burned resistor? I've similar issue on a HKTS210SUB/230, but the fuse has not blown up.
Dam im over here tryna do a box for the sub cuz i dont like that it doesnt have a port to let out some air its all inside the box it need to let out air…
I thought mine was muted aswell so i bought a new battery for my remote. If i mute it on my remote, im able to unmute with the buttons on the soundbar. So you dont need the remote. But my soundbar isnt working. No Sound. Everything is connected tried different inputs yet of luck. So darn. i do have to remotes!
Very good presentation! I have the same problem. My resistor is completely dark and I am not able to read the value. Could you give me the part number (value) for this resistor? Many thanks
