Repairing the expansion joint on the driveway~filling driveway cracks with pool noodles and Quikrete 

Aww, now aren't you a peach. As is clearly stated throughout our channel in over 400 videos, we bought a little 1968 lake cabin/shack on Lake Houston in 2017 for $50k. I challenge you to find that kind of deal now. A LAKE HOUSE outside of one of the largest cities in America. (guess what the value is already even unfinished!) We started remodelling it in our "spare time". We have been documenting it on youtube. We do the most important things first as financing allows. As was stated in this video, carpenter ants had built a huge nest in this crack long before we bought it. Now we know that you don't start a rebuild until you take care of the insect problem, be they ants or termites. So...we tackled the ant problem first and made it more uninhabitable for them. As this is a workshop/garage you are seeing, we aren't really all that concerned about the rot on the trim as much as we are about getting the actual cabin finished which is a seperate structure. Tommy's screws and nails aren't really as important as we are. I'm going to guess you have no building knowledge if you think we should replace the wood before we take care of the ants? That's ok. But we know better. The ant problem has been taken care of. They did not come back. NOW we can replace the trim with Hardi as finances allow.
