Just a quick video on how to repair the ridgid flex shaft cable. To repair you need a vice, a grinder, map gas, silver flux, and silver solder.
It’s a pretty simple repair and it will save a lot of money if you can repair your cable instead of replacing it. If it uncoils, it’s garbage though.
Only the cable from ridgid seems to require this repair. My other cables from www.plumber-tools.com simply need to be cut with a grinder with no soldering or welding needed
