I love and enjoyed the video so much! You, sir, have a creativity and curiousity of a child... Those are qualities that are so precious yet so fragile. Most people will completely be void of them as they grow up! Thank you for inspiring my inner artist from us! My little art repetition on comment section (inspired by this video :D ) THANK YOU ThANK YOU ThaNK YOU ThanK YOU Thank YOU Thank yOU Thank yoU Thank you
Thanks Channel Pabilona, I now have a big smile on my face. And my inner child as well. Nurture your own childlike nature and have fun together. Albert
I, too, find it important to encourage observing and creating repetition for our mental health! Thanks for sharing this message and for some new artists for me to explore.
Thanks, Hart. The circle is interesting to make yourself. Which colors, how big, how long it takes, when to stop, perfect circle or not, and do on. It's so interesting. Albert
I love the subject of repetition and rhythm. It allows to focus on a design element at the time so you’ll have the freedom to play inside a structure. Maybe that’s why I love printmaking! Thank you for the teaching. Always flawless! ❤️
Hi Franca, thanks. Yes I totally understand your printmaking with rhythm, repetition or patterns. It limits your options and at the same time it gives freedom within the parameters. Happy painting, Albert
Hi Albert. Another very interesting video. Ideas to test to change tools. I really like your tests with the adhesive tape roll. And i like the French Martin Jarrie that I didn't know and his paintings seen on the web. I will test my circles already on newspaper with several tools. Thank you .
Hi Dominique, thanks. I just like to try things, I always get new ideas from it. Keep moving is best for me. Martin Jarrie is interesting, all his vegetables are wonderful. Working on newspaper is also interesting to do. Thanks for sharing. Albert
Albert, great video as always, thanks. It showed me the wonders that simplicity can bring in life. In fact when you were done painting , it brought me joy and changed my mood for the day. I can't help but do one myself .
Hi Maria, thanks. Simplicity, or bringing things back to its essence, can bring a lot. I feel blessed to hear it changed your mood. Thanks for sharing, Albert
Thanks for another interesting and thought-provoking video... I was sorry when it ended. To see a credible piece of art with just one swipe of a painted cardboard ring was a real eye-opener. I think I'm going to need a lot more paper! 👍
Hi Clarence, thanks. The artworld is so much fun and there is so much beauty to be found in simplicity. Just enjoy your new found hobby. Enjoy your repetitions. Albert
@@ImperfectPaintings Thanks Albert. Do you happen to know of a site where amateurs, like the students in your classes, share their artwork just for the fun of it, please. I'd like to see more of what other people are doing.
Hi Clarence, i would suggest to check out Reddit. This is a platform about any subject also lots of groups on painting. Check out several groups and just share what you like and look what others do. Hope this helps. Albert
@@ImperfectPaintings Thanks for that Albert.Very helpful. I've joined an abstract art group, and an abstract photo group. I'd start one for your followers if I had the knowhow. Many thanks.
Always interesting Albert to watch your videos. They give me so many ideas, and keep me motivated to try and create something. Repetition does add interest, and it is always interesting to see where that shows up. Another artist that does that a lot is Yayoi Kusama.
Hi Culture Fan, thanks. Repetition is just another angle to look at art. Just as color is or line. I find it fascinating. Kusuma is an interesting artist. And there are many that could have been an example on repetition. Nice to hear you liked it. Albert
