I replaced the clutch master cylinder and the clutch slave cylinder in my 1988 Chevy R30 dump truck. It took me 2 days to bleed the clutch. I talk about what I went through and how I finally got it done.

It looks like the original master in my 88 S10. I replaced the master and slave in my S10. And changing the master was a real PITA!!

The power bleeder is definitely worth the money! I have used it several times. I have another video that I made after this one showing how I replaced the hydraulic clutch line. I used the power bleeder again to bleed the system. Very easy to do by yourself.

I am trying to replace a clutch master and slave cylinders on a custom hot rod. The pieces I have look a lot like these thanks for showing the used parts so I can compare mine.

What transmission does the truck have. I have a 80 k10 with a sm 465. Id like to convert from a manual linkage to hydraulic like you have.

@@maineinga The motive products power bleeder is awesome. I have another video linked below where I had to replace the clutch line and bleed the clutch again. The power bleeder is definitely worth the money. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BsQ6VmGlyOA.html

Has anyone heard of a clutch master that would refuse to seal to the hardline right out of the box?😭😭😭😭

Hey man. Same truck and same exact problem. Do you have any idea why the push rod would bend like that. Same thing happend to mine

Check your hydraulic line for blockage. See if you can blow compress air through the line with both ends not attached to either cylinders

I think it’s a really old part, and I don’t drive the truck very much so it just ceased up.

@@BrantleyBlended my neighbor replaced the master cylinder twice, and bent the pushrods both times. His truck is a 1989 k1500, I removed the slave cylinder and had him press down on the clutch pedal, no movement. Before we replaced both the master and the slave, I tried blowing air through it. I ended up removing the line and found that the rubber section had deteriorated internally after I cut the hose portion in half. We replaced the hose and both cylinders. Cylinders were covered under warranty anyway. Bled system, clutch is back to normal and we’re not bending anymore pushrods. Good luck 👍✌️
