Thank you for the video. I have a issue after changing these parts. My steeringwheel makes a weard noise after turning left or right. Can you tell me what the problem is?
Thats weird is it like a rubbing noise or scraping noise? The clockspring could be defective - but if everything works normally, it should be fine... Check the screws are torqued properly too.
@@thatmatty231guy it’s more like a scrubbing noise. The mechanic can’t tell me why. I thought about to do it my self but i am not a mechanic. But the scrubbing noise is super annoying. Why is it scrubbing ? Maybe you have a answer. Thank you for responding.
Before you drive it you can exit out of the ESP module --- but it will naturally go out when closing the diagnostic / restarting the car, unless there is a fault somewhere. If it doesn't go out - the steeringg wheel from far left to far right can work to.
This guide applies to -03 T Model e320 cdi also? Im having flashing esp is defective and sometimes blinker doesnt stay put i have to hold it while turning otherwise everything works well
i have a similar issue but when I use the turn signal stock the whole thing is loose and also when I do a full right turn with turn signal on, it doesnt automatically turn off or go back to its original spot, can anyone help me
I know there is a screw that holds the steering column steady in alignment with the dash - if you remove the plastic steering column covers you should be able to tighten this screw again. I assume that may be causing the turn signal issue too.
Hi I don’t think it was a pressure valve code on mine BUT a faulty valve that controls the pressure will make the steering hard to turn yes,, my old ML350 had this issue - BUT it ended up being the actual pump too.
Hello Matty thank you very much for this video very helpful, and i already subscribed :D can you please tell me what foxwell model do you have for diagnosis? does this foxwell model allows us to bleed the SBC ? or it is just for desactivation ? i am looking forward for your answer thank you very much, John
Hi John - I’m sorry for replying late! The model I use is the NT530 :) and yes it does allow for SBC bleed, however mine stoped half way through because a battery voltage issue so just make sure you have it hooked up on a supply power pack (which i did too but still had an issue). You need a good 2L of brake fluid on hand, the bleed process drinks a lot of it haha. Thank you!
@@thatmatty231guy Thank you very much for the answer. no problem. i am glad you found some time. 🤗🤗 yeah, mean while i had another problem ( mine is a 2.2, 122 hp , 646.951 diesel), on full gas was going in limp mode with no error on dashboard. and if i kept going with it like that finally i had an error, on turbo (i cannot remember the code right now) and i did not had a specific tool for a diagnose. Finally after some tries (sensors and turbo replace) i found out that the second catalytic converter was stuffed with something blown from the first catalytic converter. I canceled both just for test and the car runs very good right now. hope this info will help you and other guys thank you again😇😇
@@gigione1989 Thanks for that. Interesting, so your catalytic converter was the problem! Did you have o2 sensors you had to remove too ? I imagine you might get engine light still for no cats? :) Thank you
@@thatmatty231guy No O2 sensors for this model, so no lights. it is a euro4 diesel engine just with 2 catalytic converters and no DPF :D the car was made for France in 2004.
I am having trouble getting this part(steering angle sensor) in my country, can anyone get me one and ship to me. You will be doing me a huge favour. Thanks
@@nkhondochagwamnjira1344 that’s good :) sorry I’m not sure personally, perhaps blow the socket area clean and try some penetrating spray? I’d RU-vid search some specific examples
