Replace Door Handles 68-72 Chevelle 

During installation of door handles that had been supplied by the previous owner on the 1971 SS Chevelle project, the passenger handle button would push right inside the housing and get stuck. You couldn't open or close the door until it was pried out, causing some scratch damage. This is what was done to fix the issue, so that the handle button couldn't go all the way inside the handle and get stuck. Searching forums, I found one person who had the identical problem, but no one had the correct answer or understood the issue.
