Nice video like always, the easier way in my opinion to remove the headlight assembly is to first remove the little hex screw located on the bottom corner of the headlight were the headlight meets the turn/running light and reflector that way you can access the turn/running lights without removing the hole assembly to change any bulbs, by doing this you have easier access to remove the 3 screws or to align your headlight.. hope this helps!
Very much appreciated, I'd have been taking way too many things apart that I didn't need to if I hadent watched your vid, also I noticed the blower was a pain to remove all the way so I just pulled it out and it goes out of the way enough to get a hand in there and feel your way around, no tools needed. The truck was a 2002 model, same under the hood.
Thanks helped me out showed me the position of the locking retaining ring took me 5 min to change out both I just bought a 1999 Durango thanks again Craig...
UHM !!! Ya, it's nice you showed the back of it to know what to feel for but once you know that, just leave everything in place. Just reach in behind there and twist that plastic locking part and pull straight back. Thank you The TexasCoder for a great visual.....
By far, the easiest way to change the bulb, particularly on the passenger side, is to pull the housings out. 3 x 10mm bolts, 1 x T10 screw and you can have them out, the bulb replaced and re-installed in ~10 minutes each side.
Thank you for the comment! Great idea on the hex screw, I will certainly use that when I have to change my bulbs next. That might be this weekend, as one was starting to go in and out...you gotta love vehicles :-) Thanks again for the comment!
LOL, thanks man, yea, I was fighting that overhead console, and promised myself before I videoed anything else that would be fixed first. Thanks for watching bud!
Your cameraman sucked but the commentator was great.. I'm kidding. Thanks for sharing. Very helpful. Now if I only had small girl hands for just 15 minutes...
