Is there a way you could take a video of your headlights when it's installed? I want to get lights like yours but I wanted to see how it looks on the expedition. Thanks.
They look good but don't get the cheap ones from china. They may be good on your wallet but their light output is ridiculously low and one of my bulbs has already died and my one that still works the projector is upside down so it projects upwards towards other drivers rather than on the road.
I have these lights on my F150 n took off the lights n just kept the halos n LED n mad 2 bigger holes where light goes n but Doble 4WAY LEDS n both are on in low n high
Dude, a bit of advice. When you are making a video, have someone else hold the camera. YOu were jerking it around so much it made me dizzy just watching the fast jerking movements and I missed much of your information.
I did this install and forgot to disconnect the battery before soldering and bow my drls dont turn on and my cluster gage wont light up… i cant find any blown fuses help
My halos just burned out on one side. Curious I haven't gone into it yet tomorrow I will. But is there a way to replace or repair the halos. They're only $99 headlights but you know if you don't try and learn something then you just wasting your life away
You could definitely replace the halos- in theory. That does not necessarily make it the best decision, though. Take a multimeter and check for power first, then if there is power, check the resistance between the halos. If that checks out, personally I would just buy new headlights... If you want to open up headlights, you could retrofit morimoto projectors and add more light to your rig..
Got them from a company online. You can get them on eBay for pretty cheap as well. You definitely need to change the bulbs for a better quality brand like sylvania for the light output to be very good.
I would not recommend getting these. Although they look really cool, their light output was abysmal and the projectors inside weren't aimed properly which made it impossible for me to aim the headlights. Also, the clear coat covering them began to flake off even though my driveway is out of direct sunlight. If you really want a pair, make sure the headlight bulb itself is not H3, as these were equipped with H3 lights in the lowbeam and the output was awful.
@@themechanick9071 thanks for the information/ and update looking to upgrade my 02’. Probably gonna glass pack the exhaust and Halo/LED the lights looking for best place to order checked out z1 and eBay
Yeah, don't waste your money on these. They look OK but they are awful. I did a retrofit for my headlights and the light output is night and day when compared with these.
