Estimated price from shop to change ignition coil on my Ford was $329.72. Instead I bought ignition coil from Autozone for $69 with life time warranty. Without much knowledge, without power tools, with few mistakes in the process, with "fishing" socket out from engine compartment for 10 minutes, making this video at same time and it still took me less than an hour to do the job. I guess I made $260, not too bad. I did it 5 months ago, my van still running. What else can I say? Don't be afraid to try doing stuff by yourself!

did mine, took 1h30min, socket needed are 15mm for the windshield and 7mm for the rest. an extension is pretty much mandatory for the coil bolts. And a Phillips screwdriver for the 4 screws in the front. Great video, helped a lot to be prepared, thanks! The shop wanted $620 for the job, glad I did it myself.

i said Nothing wrong or hurting someone.he can show much information while doing this but he put the camera on side. we dont understand clearly what s happening so how we can do samething with our vehicle.

thanks for your video. I'm sure the Ford engineers could have put it in a harder place, but that would have required thought! I was able to replace it in about the same amount of time, so thanks again!

Wish the blower dude would shut it down ! Also the wiper spraers come loose on left by ac condenser tons easier than remiving where you did way more way old school work the route you went but great video thanks for the upload

not bad but when you mess with the electrical, I'd take the negative battery terminal off to prevent any damage. also, and the end of the video you should start it up.

Kelz House 15mm for the wiper blades. 8mm for the cowl. 8mm for the three bolts for the ignition coil.

i am sur you are not the mechanic but if you are either you are not good or new in this field.i have the same van like this and i paid 320$ Can to change the coil pack and the cable.

Guess you broke something, and thats why you didn't start it when finished. Should have said sizes of sockets and whatever you did when behind the cover working or hunched on top of the engine. As we can't see anything so we're just going to have to guess what is being done!

@@VasylGladun Your post read, in part, that you did the work 5 months prior to posting and your van was still running great, enough said. Why Ana DeAnda calls you a fool is beyond me. Starting the van would not prove the replacement was successful since it had to be replaced to misfire(s). I have the same problem but can still start and drive my girlfriends van. Good job!

Wow. May I remind you that this is a FREE video. Definitely not a perfect one because it was made "hundred years" ago when I had different goals. Your request would make sense if you would be one of my paid members. Otherwise respectfully you have a few options: 1. Watch the way it is. 2. Skip through useless moments of the video. 3. Use x2 speed option. 4. Find a different video on RU-vid, I'm sure there's plenty of those by now. Have a good day.
