Drain plug - 34Nm , filter housing cover - 25Nm , (knecht, mahle, mann - good quality no problem) mahle knecht has instalation manual on package. You must follow procedure. Recommended oil for all peugeot aplications is PSA B71 2312 specification. Low SAPS ACEA C1 or C2 oil with limit 0,5 % or 0.8% sulphated ash. You can also use oil of Ford specification WSS-M2C-950-A in 0w-30 ,C2 specs.
Please help! I have the same engine in 3008 2015. I need 5w40 oil vause 5w30 is to thimin summer in Croatia. It can be C3 and must be low sups. Thans in adbance!!
i do not recommend you using this type of viscosity grade. This modern engines needs low viscosity oils because of bearing clearances and cooling properties. 0W30 PSA B71 2312 is more viscous than 5W30 PSA B71 2290 or Ford WSS M2C 913D. 5W40 oil are good for Porsche petrol sport cars, GTI petrol Golfs, older AMG cars or Alfa Romeo Giulia QV.. modern diesel need 5W30 , 0W30 with aditional manufacturer specifications. You only need recent oil changes.
