How to replace oven element DIY. Instead of buying a new oven I saved money by replacing the Oven element. This is for a Kenmore but most of these ovens are very similar. I'm not recommending you do this but if you do, you can use this video to see what I did.

Good luck if you decide to do it by yourself. If the new element doesn't work check it's resistance. It could also be that the stove it self or some of the wiring is the problem. In my case I should have looked at the element and I would have notice it was damaged. I'm not sure it will be so easy to see in your case.
