You saved me time and money from buying a new cable and still probably have the same issues with loose wire. Thank you

Thanks for the great video... I tried all those spots and I guess my cable is just snapped somewhere inside the sleeve. So I worked on it a bit more and found i had not wrapped the cables around the drum head enough and once I turned it and tightened them up on the black drum head it worked fine. This video taught me a lot about it for sure.

Thanks...sure helped me i just bought a used 101 maxxum for 200 bucks and the control box fell apart when i went to install it on my boat. Pieces everywhere, your video helped in putting the puzzle back together.

Thanks for the video. i thought i needed new cables and all they needed was adjusted with the screw on the front of the pedal. You just saved me money and a bunch of time. Much appreciated.

Great video! Helped me out big time! My steering is reversed from last time, do you think I have the cables switched?

theres an adjustment screw under the cable at the front of the pedal for loose or tension

Did you have to feed the cables down through the sleeve that seems to be the part I am most concerned about

I didn't have to because mine were not broken. Just attach some string to one end of the cable and pull the cable through. Then attach new cables and pull them back up. Use the string like electricians do when they fish wire.

Every time Move the pedal the cable pops out in the head of the trolling motor. Can someone provide a video on how they align

Ya it's possible. There are 2 different cables. Not sure if you are able to wrap it in reverse.
