I know I’m late to the party here, but I can tell you how I did it (just in case others are wondering now). First of all, I’m no mechanic or “handyman” (actually im female - so I guess that makes me the “handywoman” 😂). Here lately, I have had to suddenly learn how to do these sort of things by myself. It probably takes me a lot longer than it would normally take anyone else 😂 but I get it done. 😊 So anyway, If you’re talking about the little plastic fan toward the rear of the tractor, I had a heck of a time also, so I decided to remove the obstacle (that metal plate guard thing). So I loosened the nuts that are holding the metal guard thing in place. Then, you’ll notice the nut on the LEFT (USA drivers side) there is kind of a notch in the guard plate (I’m not sure what the correct name is so forgive me), you can then just push the guard down and leave it hanging by the passenger side nut. Once that’s out of the way it’s very simple to push the belt down behind the fan and wrap it around the pulley thing. Just remember to put the guard back where it belongs and tighten your nuts after. ***FIY these nuts were VERY hard to get to and remove. I used a DeWalt 20v 1/2” impact gun with a long extension thing connected to a 13mm socket (the 1/4” impact driver wasn’t strong enough for these particular nuts but the 1/4” works great for the rest of the mower). Perhaps someone larger and or stronger would be able to do it with a simple wrench, but that didn’t work for me :/ Good Luck!!!
